The property was in an excellent location. The furnishings were a little dated especially the sofa. The kitchen was stocked but pots were nowhere to be found. One drawback was there no dishwasher. Overall, the property was clean enough to make our stay great.

Entirely too small for 6 people even though it’s sleeps 6. There is a couch that sits three. Other than what you will have to sit ion a kitchen chair! Great location! However, no remote for tv in master bedroom. Light in Master was out. Kitchen skillets were not washed/clean. Living room stays extremely warm. It was just ok!

Fantastic!

Check water heater. When you turn on hot water in the sink for dishes it smells like sulfur. It's awful!

Wish we would have stayed home.

This trip was for and with our 93 year old mother. When we got to the condo and unpacked, sat down and started to turn on the TV for mom, NO REMOTE, we looked all over the place. I called the office there closed, so I left a msg. (Tuesday evening) so no TV for mom. The TV in her room did not work for that TV. The one in the second bedroom was ok, I guess she could have sat on my sister's bed and watched TV and the nice view on the walkway, not the beach on the other side of the condo. When it was time for bed mom and my sister went to there rooms and I pulled out the sofa. 1/2" of dust and some kind of candy under it. The next day, ready for a shower my mom pulled back the shower curtain and call me and my sister in there. Mold at the bottom of the shower. We had to take her to my sister's room and help her over the tub so she could wash herself and this had to be done 3 times. My sister found more mold and filth in her bathroom. I hope you can help us recover some of our wasted $$$. Thank you for any help you can give.

Property was very dirty. This place needs a deep cleaning.

To start with our feet were so dirty from walking on the floors. Coffee maker had molded coffee grinds in it blood on one of the pillows and blanket, stove was so nasty there was no way I was going to cook any food on it. Dishes in cabinets were filthy. Sheets that we had to put on beds ourselves where so thin. What really got me was they had a pic of a little girl with a book for your experience. Pic read that if you leave a bad review that the little girl will cry (really) so I did not put anything in the book. Ice maker also did not work. Also stains all over cushion in front of couch.This was a terrible experience. If this place was cleaned it mite be a pretty decent place. couch. Always love the cabana but will make sure I never rent this one ever again.

Great location

Great location. Easy to get to the beach. You can watch the fireworks from the balcony which was very nice. Rooms are tight and we kept stubbing our toes on the bed frames. The couch can only comfortably sit 2 people so just be prepared to sit in a kitchen chair if you're going to watch TV as a family. It served its purpose for our vacation though. Our only real complaint was the floors were rather gross upon our arrival. Sand and dirt everywhere. I had to run the vacuum as soon as we got there but our feet stayed black the whole time from walking around the condo. The rest of the place seemed clean but it did make me question how well it had been cleaned prior to our arrival.

Property is OLD and OVERPRICED, but that view…..

The property is OLD and rundown, but the oceanfront view did not disappoint. The unit has a beautiful view and is in close proximity to restaurants, activities, and of course the beach. The pool was closed for 3 of our days there, and the “hot tub” can best be described as an old broken down “not-hot-tub” converted into a deep, dirty, and cold kiddy pool. The middle bedroom shower was clogged and needed to be snaked but no one ever came after reporting the closed pool and shower issue to the rental company. As a result, each shower included wading in dirty water that overflowed each time, which had to be cleaned with the rented towels (which all had to be washed each day just to clean up the water from the overflowing shower). We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Carolina Beach, and as I said, the view was outstanding. The whole cabana, as well as the rental, is old and in need of a facelift and some repairs, including the pool and “not-hot-tub.” At just under $3k for the week, the rental was well overpriced for its condition, not to mention that the pool was closed for 3 of our days there.

Beach Condo Review

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. The condo was in a nice location. There are 4 things we found to be a problem: 1) One of the bathrooms had hair on the shower wall. 2) There was sand on the coffee tables. I know it's the beach and sand can get everywhere but this clearly had not been wiped down/dusted in quite some time. 3) Too many access codes to keep up with (gate, beach access, room, etc). 4) The covered parking had one way in & out. There was no turning around if you couldn't find a spot and all the spaces were extremely tight. Lots of maneuvering just to park.
