Carolina beach in the rain

Even in the rain this rental was perfect..close to everything and unit was updated witb 2 king beds..don't get that too oftem!Would definitely recommend and we will be back !

Horrible!

Due to the hurricane we were stuck inside and the owners wouldn’t budge on policy and refund any monies back. So since we were stuck inside we had time to notice spider webs in the bathroom light fixtures, trash cans with several weeks of trash in it, no poop bags in poop bag dispenser as promised, empty plastic bottle under sofa, most uncomfortable sofa ever sat on, dryer taken several cycles to dry one load of clothes, cooking pans outdated and unclean, one glass with a severe stress crack in it, we were afraid to use it, chipped coffee cups, stale coffee, deck smelled like piss, mattress in downstairs bedroom had a stain on it when removed bed clothes as requested and kind of filthy. I know they have a policy of no refunds after a point, but with the condition we stayed in and having to leave early in dangerous conditions, they have the authority to have mercy and at least give a partial refund. I would not recommend this place to my friends and family. We love Carolina Beach and this experience almost ruined it for us to where we were saying that we would never come back. I believe we will come back someday but definitely stay with a more professional organization. The people we met in CB were awesome ! We loved the shopping, the boardwalk until we kept getting rained out. We tried twice and got stuck in the rain twice and had to literally fight our way home, walking under an umbrella.

Awful Views

When you looked outside every window. You either saw run down places or a junkyard that was directly next door. The place did offer coffee, cereal bars, sugar and creamers; however, everything had an expiration of 2023. Very unhappy with the place!! Would never go back.

Great getaway in a great location!

The condo was perfect for our two adults and one dog. Neat, clean, and quiet. We love the location in town. Everything is very walkable whether you want a restaurant, the boardwalk, lake and/or the beach! Owners were super responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we are back at Carolina Beach!

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Dune Alright. The property was clean, well kept, and the hosts were very accommodating. Being in a central location that’s walkable to restaurants and the beach was also great.

Cute well furnished beach bungalo

One of the cleanest places we have stayed at Carolina Beach. Had everything we needed for our trip including a couple of items we left behind that we never thought of. The dog treats made our furry friend very happy during his stay as well. Booking and check-in were a seamless process. Great trip and will definitely stay here again.

Location is convenient, the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Upstairs is toilet only, no shower. Downstairs bathroom desperately needs new toilet seat and cleaner shower. Seating is not adequate if 4 adults rent, only one small sofa for 2.

Perfect for our family

Dune Alright was the perfect place to call home during our week at the beach (2 adults + a 4 y/o). We felt welcome immediately. They thought of everything. Proximity to the beach was a less than 5 minute walk, easy with a wagon to haul all the things. We tried several of Joe & Michelle’s restaurant recommendations and enjoyed them all! Would recommend adding SeaSpur to the list as well :)

Great little condo to spend a few days! Location was perfect, within walking distance to pretty much everything at Carolina Beach. Michelle and Joe were very responsive as well. Highly recommend!

This property could not have worked any better for us. Covered parking for our vehicle and small trailer, easy walking access to bars, restaurants, and the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, and very close to great dog park for our four-legged companions.

Starting Traditions

It was perfect! Our hope is to come back year after year. We have been wanting to find a spot for an annual vacation at Carolina Beach, and even with our growing family, I think we found just that. The location was walking distance from the beach, but still away from the noise of the boardwalk at night (which is what we preferred). Looking forward to future vacations here!
