Condo was neat and clean upon arrival. Great views while relaxing on the patio. Couch and beds were comfortable and made it feel like home and not like you are staying somewhere else. Loved having the shelves labeled in the kitchen to know where stuff belongs. We appreciated having the Brita pitcher in the fridge and the ice maker in the freezer! Will definitely stay again if it’s available whenever we come back!

Fabulous location on the beach and across from the CB park. Very pet friendly beach. Walking to several restaurants and veggie wagon was a plus! Would definitely recommend. Would suggest taking a sound machine if a light sleeper, due to noise from unit above. Always the case when not on the top floor. The owners were super friendly and attentive.

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing week at Betsy and Chris’s condo. This condo is so comfortable and perfect for our family (including our doodle). We enjoyed watching the sunsets each morning on the balcony. Can’t wait to come back again next summer!

We've been coming to CB every year for about 10 years, and this place was by far the BEST! The location was perfect, and the condo itself was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. We truly felt at home. We'd love to make this our go-to spot every year from now on!

Great location and set up - some room for improvement

Pros: perfect location - on the beach, easy to walk to boardwalk/restaurants and veggie wagon across the street; tons of great seating options both inside and outside - definitely enough seating options for everyone, fantastic views from the couch, bed and balcony - we saw dolphins in the first 20 minutes being there; comfy king bedCons: communication and cleanliness could be improved. I’m not sure if it was because we were there in the off season but the cleanliness wasn’t what I expected of even a lower priced unit. The guest toilet had a hygiene paper across the lifted seat indicating it had been cleaned but there was poop on it. I emailed the owners but never heard back. Had it been a group of us, I would’ve called them to request it be cleaned, but it was only me and my husband for a few days with our dog. The headache wasn’t worth it so we just didn’t use it. Similarly, there was a large decorative dish on the counter with rotted fruit juice in the bottom, the dishwasher was full of clean dishes, the linens were at the bottom of the beds (instructions said beds would be made). Who wants to start vacation unloading the dishwasher and making the bed? Weirdly, the owner also messaged me to see if we wanted linens for the guest room since it was just me and my husband. If you’re charging me for a full linen package, I’d like all the linens so weird question. I said the linens weren’t necessary but I’d like extra towels and didn’t receive those.

Glorious

Fantastic stay. The property is just as described. Right on the beach, beautiful second floor views. We spent every minute either on the beach or on the deck staring at the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook. But you can also walk to restaurants. We hope to stay here again.

Wow!

You won’t need to bring a thing, because every single you might need is already there. Even a nutmeg grater…. Exceptionally clean, extraordinary view of the Atlantic, and best of all, the dog stays free. Easy walk to downtown. A very helpful, friendly host. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, views, and super comfortable!

My family stayed in this condo over Thanksgiving this year. I needed to have a place that was dog friendly so I felt very fortunate to find this very organized and well equipped spot. The deck is very large and you can watch the sun rise from the master bedroom! Even though it was very chilly I like being near the water when we visit our daughter at UNCW. The owners were beyond kind to us and I’m grateful for the experience. Will be back!

Beautiful, cozy, & well kept condo

My husband, furkid and I have rented and Betsy's and Chris's beach condo for several years in a row and will continue to stay there when we visit Carolina Beach. The condo is the nicest we have ever stayed at, Betsy and Chris are great to work with, the condo is in a great location with easy access to the beach and all restaurants in Carolina Beach. We highly recommend staying at their condo.

Sea Turtle Expectation 🐢

Condo directly on the beach. Close to boardwalk, restaurants, shops. Beach rentals within walking distance ie paddle boards etc. Covered parking, outdoor shower, small pool and garbage all easy access. Comfortable bed in master bedroom. Kitchen stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. Large size frig. Good working AC and ceiling fans. Owners responsive in a timely manner to questions about condo operations as well as offering tips for restaurants, chair and linen rentals. Sea turtle nest observation directly in front of condo. Hopefully the next renter will enjoy the hatching! Had a great week 🏖️

We loved the beach and how close it was to the beach! The owners were very responsive and easy to contact. We had a few suggestions/issues: The accordion door by the laundry was broken and that made it challenging to use the laundry and the dryer did not turn off with the timer. Having more than 1 towel per guest would be nice too. Having higher seating on the balcony would make viewing the ocean waves easier. But These were minor and did not impact our enjoyment of the unit and the beach!
