"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"The staff were attentive to our needs. We ate there on the second night of our stay. They food was lovely and hot when served. We did not wait for too long from ordering to getting our food. There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues. My and I were are aware that there was music being played when we went to bed, but I did not really interfere with us getting to sleep. Eat plugs were provided which my wife used. "Very modern, refurbished room, overlooking the beer garden and caravan site. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of goodies in the room, including fresh milk in the mini fridge, and the extra treats you get for staying with a doggo. The bathroom, bed and chairs were all super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. I had dinner in the restaurant, and the staff were super polite and friendly. "Nice hotel, friendly staff. Dinner was good quality pub-grub and breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and very smart decor. Was a bit hot at night so perhaps air-con would have been nice, although there was a fan thankfully! Be aware that there is no car park at the hotel, although we got parked fine on the unrestricted side streets. Overall, nice hotel, would recommend."
