This cabin was beautiful and fit our needs, however, as we stayed in the summer, it had a noticeable mouse problem. There were rodent droppings in the bedrooms and the linens had clearly not been changed, as there were crumbs and rodent droppings in the sheets and on the bed frame of one of the upstairs beds. We requested help from the host, and they offered to move us to a new cabin. We waited for hours for the host to update us with check-in instructions, which never came. We had to call emergency maintenance after hours to get our check-in instructions for the new cabin, and move after dark. The second cabin was much smaller and not as nice, but for the same price, and the second cabin also had mouse droppings in every single corner. In the end we did stay at the cabin, and it had great potential but is not well managed. In raising my concerns about cleanliness of linens and the second cabin as well as the total lack of communication by the host, we were told "we do our best to proactively manage wildlife" and given less than a night of refund. I do not recommend Tahoe Rental Company.
