Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous area with hiking trails that go for miles just up the street. I had a short stay and only used two bedrooms but there is ample space for friends and would be ideal with a bigger group with dog lovers. Very clean!

The Good, Bag and the Ugly. The Good - We stayed here with family to celebrate a milestone birthday This home is in a nice area and it was clean. The kichen is very nice. The Bad - Upon arrival we quickly noticed that the living room loveseat was about to collapse (pics included) and when we were loading groceries into fridge a drawer was broken. We immediately let Prop Manager know and they said not to use them. Maintenance contact us later in the day and said they could come fix it. We said never mind. Wait till we are gone. The loveseat was unfixable. It needed to be replaced quite a long time ago.The Ugly - We rented this home because it had a pool table and we wanted to have a fun family time. When we went downstairs, we noticed the pool table was also broken. It was missing balls, there was no chalk left in the chalk cube and there was no felt on some of the pool sticks. We also found a smoke detector that was hanging open, and the wires had been cut, and there were no batteries. There was actually a little toy Jesus stuck inside the smoke detector which I assume the previous tenant put there. There was also an uncovered outlet under TV in living room.This is a fire hazard! I would not stay at this home again. It’s clear the owners don’t come here or they don’t care. VACASA IS TERRIBLE at prop management & they even modified my review & deleted all negative comments on the Vacasa website. STAY AWAY

Nice home but…

The home and neighborhood are nice and the space was adequate for the most part for our 9 person party. We stayed 5 days over the Christmas holiday and had a few days of snowfall which was beautiful but the property definitely had its pros and cons.Pros:Location between Tahoe City and Kings BeachUpdated and nice interior of homeParking for 4 vehiclesCons:No cleaning supplies in kitchen or bathroomVacuum cleaner broken Kitchen ill equipped: 2 tissue thin kitchen towels. 2 rolls of tissue thin paper towels for 5 daysHeating only really worked in kitchen and first floor bedrooms. Family room and upstairs had no heating.Photos and description show sleeper sofa in poolroom but there is not one. Outside of the cons, we still had a wonderful time and it worked out but my biggest complaint is in regards to host communication. Vacasa was responsive but owners were not at all. I requested an early check-in the morning of about 3-4 hours prior and did not get a response until 6 hours after we checked in (on time). Also requested a late check out 2 days prior to checking out and followed up multiple times,,,again did not hear back from owner until after 48 hours and we were already back home.

Great cabin, scary and icy drive in and out

Very clean and well stocked cabin. Getting out after it snowed was harrowing. 5 people before us spin out and several had to get towed due to crashing. If in the summer, great stay. Need snow tires or chains. We have an AWD that I take up to the snow regularly… still was scary.

Excellent space for a Tahoe weekend!

This house had everything we needed for a family meetup by the lake. There was tons of space and all the amenities were exactly what we needed. The location is superb and is close to beach access at the lake. The only thing we noticed was the faucet in the kitchen sink is very loose. The lock box code for the physical keys was also not included with the check in instructions, but those were the only things we noted about the stay that could be improved.

Excellent property!

The house is lovely and the location was perfect for us. We had 10 people stay and that worked well, we did bring an extra air mattress as we only had 2 couples The host didn’t respond to my messages, which were about early and late check in.

Overall very good experience

In our party we had 5 adults and two children under the age of 12. We loved the location, the layout, and the amount of room- plenty of bedrooms and beds- although some of the mattresses need to be replaced. The big dinning table allowed for family meals and game time. We loved building a fire in the fireplace at night when it was snowing. The kids loved the game room downstairs- although the stairs going down were a bit sketchy. Excellent water pressure in the showers. Oven and dishwasher need to ne updated- the oven door is missing the front piece and one of the burners is not working. The dishwater is missing a bottom plate so you could see all the buildup. It would be useful if there were more cups, glasses, and dish towels vailable. We are so thankful it was a dog friendly home- our boy loved his time.

Great place that needs some TLC

I loved the place. It was big enough for my family. It had a nice open kitchen, dining area and living room. Plenty of bedrooms and we loved having the pool table in the basement. So why only 3 stars? There were things that need work - The stove was missing part of the door - it would close properly and was functional, but the outward cosmetic part was missing. It looked like it came from a salvage yard. - The pool table was fine, but all the pool cues had broken or missing tips except one, and that one wasn't the greatest. There was also no chalk. - The BBQ didn't work. First it was hard to light. It was winter and with some effort I was able to get it lit. After it was lit, I closed to the lid to get it to heat up so I could put some nice steaks on the grill, but as it heated up flames engulfed the bbq. This was not safe so I turned it off and we went out for pizza. - there were other smaller issues too (ex. the fuse went out when using the toaster, coffee maker and microwave at breakfast) We went to Tahoe for a family ski / snowboard trip. The place was great, if there weren't these issues I would have given it 5 Stars. Chris.

Budget Friendly

Attentive management in budget friendly unit. A little tired, worn and cluttered. Desperately needs new flooring and a kitchen update. Beds were comfortable and location was convenient and quiet. Basement stairwell is awkward- easier to access from exterior door. Nice roominess for the family though.

Spacious, comfortable house

Good location for exploring Tahoe area. Plenty of cooking and kitchen ware. Renters with dogs should clean up their poop in the yard! Otherwise, a nice , comfortable place for 4 couples or a family !

Quiet getaway

The rental and check in process could not have been any easier. Property was as advertised. The house was clean and stocked with all the necessities. Expansive deck to sun yourself. Comfortable beds and although the access to the game room was tight, it was the most fun room in the house Great neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.

Good but could be better

My family and I had a nice time renting out this cabin. It needs a lot of updates though. The furniture, carpet, and appliances are all very out dated and kind of dingy. We also didn’t have enough toliet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. the downstairs room with the pool table was very fun but all the sticks were either broken or without chalk. The location was great and the cabin overall was very spacious and fun. It could just use a good deep clean.

Good all around

Great price, location, and accommodations. Pretty much as advertised except for pool table room which needs some attention. Had a great time and the all around experience was fine. Vacasa did a good job communicating check in and out process. Smooth and very enjoyable.

Cozy beautiful area but needs some TLC

Loved the house and it’s cozy-ness. Unfortunately, most of the kitchen pots and pans were covered in oil - put away without being washed. So we had to wash everything. The bed mattresses are so used it was hard to sleep without waking up in pain. The living room game organizer behind couch had game boxes that were open and marbles and chips spread all over the place along the floor and walls. I think the cleaning crew needs to be reminded of what to watch out for. Bathrooms were great. Heat system is amazing. Area is wonderful for walks. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place, location and price!

We had a great time over a long weekend here; the location is awesome (road is a little steep FYI), and the house has 4 full rooms, a sleeping loft and 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen is pretty well equipped with lots of pots and pans and basic spices, also a crockpot, blender, etc. TONS of board games, for kids and adults. We could never get the TV/dvd player to work properly so that was a bummer, also the BBQ was broken. The weirdest thing about this cabin was access to the game room/basement. It was maybe 5 inches wide, and opened to really sleep stairs. The photos don’t show it but you have to sneak between the stair railing and the fireplace; it’s not meant for larger folks!
