What an amazing property! Deer Meadow exceeded all expectations as we enjoyed the quiet comforts of a top notch getaway in the heart of Carmel Valley.The kitchen was the star of the show - with the best stocked kitchen you'll ever experience to the Wolf stove just waiting for you to prep dinner with the produce picked up at Carmel's Farmers Market. The layout easily accommodated 5 adults and we were able to spread out and enjoy quiet times alone as needed.The backyard was a favorite of our vacationing dog - completely fenced-in with an incredible mountain view.Mary Jane and Marco were professional, answered all questions and made check-in a breeze.10 out of 10 experience.

Girls trip 2025

Annual girls trip celebrating 30 years of trips. Our first trip was to Monterey so we returned to celebrate the 30 years. The house was perfect, cleans and very well stocked. Contact with property manager Marco was very efficient. Great house!!

Great family/friends site

We had an awesome, but short, stay at this great Deer Meadows, Carmel Valley home. There is tons of room for both indoor and outdoor activities. Kitchen is awesome and the rooms were large and comfortable. We had no issues and in the future, if we need a hub for a family gathering, we will book this place. Super close to all the great little places in Carmel Valley Village.

This home was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was spotless, smelled fresh, had ample supply of kitchen appliances and gadgets, a beautiful stocked coffee bar with our favorite Nespresso pods, and the baby high chair and iron and ironing board took it to another level. Excellent stay and Marco was so attentive and helpful.

A lovely stay in Carmel valley

The property is great for a family of up to 8 ppl. It is well appointed. Hikes are near by, as also good restaurants, and wine tasting. Weather was luckily splendid. We thoroughly enjoyed., Thank you !

Heaven on the hill

Our stay was perfect. The house was beautiful and so clean. Bedrooms all spacious with great views. Chef’s kitchen was great. So many extras that you normally don’t see in rentals. Every little detail is thought of. Would love to return.

Relaxing and serene

We rented the house for a family get together and couldn’t have been more thrilled with this home! Very relaxing and spread out. We did a couple day trips but by and large we enjoyed relaxing out on the various decks of the property, catching up, playing games along with a couple evenings of s’mores. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you’d need for group dinners. Local wineries were wonderful. Great memories!

Awesome property

We had a great time as a group of 8 friends staying at the property for the weekend. The house and deck/patio are gorgeous, with lots of space for our larger group, and great views into Carmel valley. Lots of personal touches around the house and a well stocked kitchen. Property manager was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again if planning another trip to the area.

Lovely home in Carmel Valley

This was the perfect place for a family spring-break gathering. Four bedrooms, lots of outdoor space, well-equipped. The location gave easy access to hiking and restaurants. We all loved our stay among the oak trees.
