Absolutely Perfect!!

All four of us were so sad to leave this beautiful gem.The location is an easy 5 minute drive to the town of Carmel and only 10 minutes to Monterey. This beautiful house is located up high on the hills surrounding Carmel. It is overlooking a beautiful, green valley to the south and the stunning ocean coast to the east. The views are outstanding, inside and out. The house has 2 outdoor seating areas that are surrounded by many trees and colourful, vibrant gardens. The gardens make the home feel cozy and private. There is also the ability to fence in the back patio, so our furry friends were safe and able to enjoy a little outdoor freedom.The house itself is a bit dated, but that is part of its charm. It is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The furniture is very comfortable and there are lots of sitting areas for everyone. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, well equipped and the beds were super comfortable. We all had great nights sleep, which is rare when traveling.The laundry room was clean, bright and came in handy.We would totally recommend this rental to friends and family. We loved everything from the location, comfort and views,to golfing, touring, dining out and enjoying a spa day. Cheers and thank you,The Owen Family

Communication issues

The only difficulty occurred when one of our party suffered a severe injury about three weeks before our original arrival date in September. It took at least 15 emails and text to get a hold of the property manager and get our dates changed. Unfortunately, they were mostly noncommunicative for days at a time. Once we finally got the date changed, communication was fine, and the property is spectacular.

Beautiful house in a great location

Great location - close to many major attractions. Lots of beautiful art in the house and nice views of the ocean on a clear day. The decorated Christmas tree in the house was a nice touch for the holidays!

Christmas Vacation

We hosted our two kids and their spouses (and one 3.5 year old) over the holiday break. We loved the house and apartment over the garage (which is where we slept). The location was absolutely perfect--close enough to downtown, but not in the fray of day-trippers. Stunning views of the ocean. We had rain, fog, and sunshine over our 5-day stay and loved the changing seascape. All of us walked into town and back once, but drove the other times, as the hill is a challenge for a toddler (even with a stroller--but it can be managed and is worth the effort). We really appreciated having a decorated Christmas tree awating us, logs for the fireplace, and all the fixings to makes S'more over the fire pit. Thanks so much. We had a great time.

Grea location

Beautiful view and quiet. Good location for get together for 3 couples. Each bedroom like a master. Home is older. Generous with supplies. Property management was bit disorganized. Recommend using remote locks like most VRBOs to make check in and checkout more convenient. Would stay again.

Beautiful view, great location

Family reunion. Went to the aquarium and explored the area. House was well equipped and view was stunning. The only issue was we had trouble figuring out what thermostat to use when the temperature dipped. Convenient location to Carmel, Monterey & Pacific Grove.

Beautiful views, great location and great space!

This was a beautiful house in Carmel. We loved the views, the outside spaces and the house itself was much larger than it appeared in the pictures. It was also very easy to get downtown, but still quiet. Would happily stay here again!

Chill Weekend

Went for our daughter’s 30th. Just a quiet long weekend with our grown kids and dog. Such a nice vibe with all the art! Good location to town. Only down side was our dog getting poisoned either by something around the area or down along Cannery Row but luckily he was ok after several hours.

Spectacular View

We had a wonderful stay at Sea-Struck. The views were spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our group, and the bedrooms were beyond comfortable. It was a great location for our family get away. And the host was very responsive and flexible, even calling the day before to walk through the check-in process and making a point of letting us know that the house would be available earlier than expected.

Relaxing getaway

Everything about our experience was A+. Marco was friendly and very helpful during our check in process. A lot of care was put in to making the house feel very welcoming. The kitchen had everything you might need. There is a nice view and the side patio is perfect for relaxing. The house is also very pet friendly and they provide a way to close off the side patio to keep your dog safe. We would stay here again anytime.

Could not use garage. Upstairs difficult to get into. Slow response for assistance. Bedsheets were dirty. Lots of bugs flying around. 10am is a ridiculous time for check out when check in is 4pm. Our beach rental is similar in size and it does not take 6 hours to turn it around. Communication with the office was slow and at times unresponsive. View is beautiful. No air condition. Fan does not work well. Great neighborhood. Close to town.

Best place EVER

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. With a separate room above garage with a queen bed, bathroom, kitchen and small couch and tv, its all we needed to let our young adult children sleep in. We would enioy our coffee in the morning and wine at night. The view was amazing and close enough to town to walk. The house had enough blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies, etc. I loved this place and would definitely stay here again.
