Home was beautiful and clean. All the necessary stuff inside to have a good time and cook a great meal. Wonderful backyard.Hosts left such a nice welcome basket and bowl of s’mores stuff too!Definitely made our stay so enjoyable.

We visited the property with a group that has been going somewhere together for 35 years since our kids were in day camp. The house was everything it was represented to be and the management was extremely friendly and organized truly a pleasure.

A wonderful stay

This property was amazing, definitely the pictures don’t do it justice. The space was amazingly large, we had a group of 10 and never felt a space that was too small. The ease of being so close to downtown Carmel was such a good feeling. The outside space is much more than the photos in the listing. I enjoyed sitting outside every day and feeling the cool breeze. We had two issues that were addressed: there were no kitchen towels but when I notified the house manager they immediately delivered brand new towels to our front door step. The other issue was one bathroom sink did not work and they sent a handyman immediately, unfortunately they couldn’t fix the faucet but with plenty of bathrooms it was ok (sometimes things happen and I understand). Beyond that the stay was amazing and would love to do another stay there.

beautiful home!

This house was perfect for our large family of 9 with the 5 bedrooms. Most were over 80, so having so many downstairs bedrooms worked well, as well as no stairs from the garage. The driveway was steep, but the parking was ample with a place to turn around. The kitchen was large and well equipped to handle large meals. The views were fantastic! Marco, our contact was very helpful and easy to contact. All in all, we had no problems and lots of fun.

Perfect girls weekend house!

Our annual girls trips are hard to beat, but this trip might have been one of the best. The house was perfect- plenty of space to hang out and enjoy each other's company, amazing kitchen to cook and share food, and really lovely separate spaces for us to be able to retreat for sleep, shower, or have some quiet time. The walk to and from downtown was lovely and a feature (not a bug)- would definitely recommend staying here for larger groups (we had 8).

Thanksgiving Family Fun

We loved the layout of the home and the convenience to the town --- a short walk or a short car ride. The entire home was just wonderful. I appreciated the concern of Mary Jane and Marco to be sure our needs were met. Although my daughter had brought her commercial mixer to make Christmas cookies, Holden had brought a brand new mixer to the house. Holden also brought a stack of games per my request. Marco came when we checked in and went over the heating, grill, and other requests we had. Right before leaving, all of a sudden the upstairs toilet started overflowing (clean water). This was an inconvenience but Marco responded and was going to send a plumber, but by that time we checked out. There was a problem with water pressure in the downstairs shower. It would have been nice if paper napkins and Kleenex had been provided. There should be a fire extinguisher on the property. Our family group of 9 highly recommends this home and the Coastal rental group.

Sibling Reunion

Great property! Four siblings and spouses all had comfortable rooms, private bathrooms and several living areas to eat, play cards or watch football. There's close access to numerous trails and downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. We also took advantage of the close proximity to Point Lobos. What a treasure! We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Great home in a phenomenal location

The home is beautiful, clean, and perfectly furnished. Just up the road from everything in Carmel and an easy drive to pebble beach or the quail. Communication with the property manager and concierge was great! They were super accommodating. Thank you for a great stay!

Wedding week

This house was a great place to stay while in town for our daughter’s wedding. We were able to walk to downtown and was large enough for us all to stay. Very clean quiet area. Having to drive to another location to pick up and drop off keys was a little cumbersome.

Private note to owner — the house is great. The back yard is not pleasant enough to use. The main outdoor dining area has uneven concrete blocks that are a trip hazard and lack charm. The backyard esp the dining terrace has fantastic potential, worth investing in.

Fantastic house

Beautiful and spacious home in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable for four couples. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the BBQ worked great. It's a great location, easy short walk into the village of Carmel, and easy access to Hwy 1. I would love to stay here again!

Perfect location and great kitchen!

We had such a fun stay here! We thought the town would be more walkable from the house but it was still in the perfect location. The property manager was very attentive and exceedingly kind at check in. The kitchen was fully stocked along with all the amenities. You don’t need to bring a thing! There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Art & Sound Carmel getaway

The house is perfectly located in a convenient location that's a short walk to town and the ocean. The house was truly stunning and had every amenity and convenience you could want. Our group of friends had ample room to relax and enjoy ourselves. I greatly appreciated the clear communication and responsiveness from the property management company leading up to, and during the stay, for any questions that we had. The welcome wine and chocolates were a very nice touch! Enjoyed the stay so much, we've booked the property for the fall.
