Stay here!

We loved this place! -Gorgeous large kitchen -Beautiful garden -Quiet and peaceful -2 minute drive to the village -Easy check in and out -Steam room was fantastic -Owners and manager were lovely and helpful -The only downside was the shortest walk to town was down a busy road with no sidewalks, so we either drove or called Ubers that arrived in 3 minutes. All around a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

Getaway weekend

Great house and location! Only wish we could have stayed longer. Kitchen is gorgeous and has been redone. Steam room and hot tub were great. Enjoyed the relaxing sounds from the outdoor water fountain.

Wonderful getaway

The Home exceeded our expectations with a new chef’s kitchen-not pictured. We were within walking distance to town, the beach & close to the wedding festivities making everything convenient. We could not have asked for anything more!

Gorgeous Mediterranean home. Owners installed every possible convenience. Jacuzzi was wonderful after a day of tennis and golf. Great location with beautiful flower studded walk to town. Very convenient. Gorgeous stunning garden. Can’t say enough!!

5 of us stayed at this beautiful home in Carmel. It was exactly what we needed and exactly what we expected. Well appointed and stunning in the interior plus the gardens are amazing. Checking in was easy with Charley and she communicated with me well.

The Place is Wonderful!!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this home! It's got everything you need and a perfect location! Plenty of room and can sleep 8. Plan on renting again when we travel to Carmel.

Annual Monterey Christmas

The gardens are beautiful! The kitchen was very well appointed. I had a medical emergency while in Monterey. Three of us had to leave early, leaving three of our party at the house. They had a wonderful time. Charley was an immense help.

Christmas in Carmel

Beautiful house. Very nice floor plan for family gathering. Very well stocked kitchen. The patio reminded us of Italy. It was all one level which made it easy with the elder and the little. The property also includes a spa, steam room and small gym. The check in process was easy and the house was very clean.

This is an amazing home! It is comfortable, clean and spacious. Indoor and outdoor spaces are well appointed. Location is perfect! Short walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Carmel and to Carmel Beach.

Lovely home, great location

The home and garden were lovely, clean, and well-kept. It offered 3 comfortable sleeping rooms and 2 options for hanging out as a group. It is a pleasant 1/2 mile walk to the center of town. The owners have a separate contract to be completed beyond the standard VRBO agreements; my first experience with an additional document. It listed a series of fees which did not correlate with those itemized on the VRBO site. The owner was less than gracious about my attempt to understand the fees and the additional document (perhaps all on me since I made the error of using the "customer service" link for VRBO which offered no meaningful help).

Camel Home Extraordinaire !!

Mere words and a handful of pics can't adequately describe this extraordinary property - you must experience it to fully appreciate its superb location, spacious floor-plan, unique artwork/decor, the inviting back patio and garden area. The furnishings and bedding are top-notch affording much comfort and relaxation for the guests, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/dining ware to serve a large family, and the property is extremely well-maintained and cared for which allows a trouble-free stay for the renters. Compliments to the owners and the managers for ensuring that we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Carmel, and we look forward to a return visit in the not-so-distant future. Thank you for the privilege of vacationing in your magnificent home!

Most excellent

Great location for walking into Carmel or driving to other locations. Easy off street parking for three cars. Overly stocked kitchen allowing for us to cook anything we desired. Great place for a family gathering with a secure garden for the little ones and the dog to roam. Poor internet connection so if you hope to work from your vacation spot forget it! Poor cell service. But everything else was most excellent!

Very comfortable, unique property.

3 couples, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. Gorgeous garden and patio. The Wally to from town is steep and a good ½ mile to the edge of town. We certainly got our exercise! Great stay.

Beautiful Property, great location

This property is close to all the restaurants and shops in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea. The home is very comfortable. Only suggestion, please get a new mattress for the primary bedroom. We were sinking in the middle a bit. We did sleep well, tired from all the walking and having fun. Other than that, everything was perfect. Sitting in the garden with a cup of coffee in the morning, heaven. The WiFi is slow, but we didn't mind. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. Side note, we loved getting lunch at Carmel Belle. Rooftop at Vescuvio is always lovely for a drink and apps, or a full meal if you like. Thank you

Gorgeous home with lots of space

We rented this house for the Big Sur marathon, very conveniently located for drop off areas and finish line. Also very close to downtown Carmel by the Sea for restaurants. The house has two wings- one with three bedrooms and two full baths, and another with the media room and another full bath. This was ideal set up for my husband and me, our two kids, my parents, and a friend who was also running the marathon. He stayed in media room with own bathroom, while we and kids stayed in the wing with the bedrooms. Great kitchen and dining room, has has fireplace to keep things cozy on foggy mornings and then when the sun comes out the patio is gorgeous! Plenty of space for kids to cruise around, nice gas bbq grill, lovely gardens and hot tub was clutch to have pre and post race. Will be back! Thank you!!

The perfect getaway

This house was amazing!! We are 3 adults and two kids ages 8 and 2 who were looking for our first post pandemic getaway and this home was ideal. The 3 bedrooms were all large enough for us to have our own space but close enough to keep an ear out for small people. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and the outdoor space was peaceful and beautiful both day and night. The location is ideally located to shopping, dining and multiple beaches. This house was everything we needed for a weeklong getaway, including laundry. We will be looking for excuses to get back to this place again soon!
