"The staff without exception were excellent. They were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was good on both mornings. The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. Hotel supplied winter duvets which were much too warm for June. Both nights were therefore uncomfortably wam. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night and the restaurant...

"The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. "Nice little hut, very small kitchen space (1 person only), nice sized shower with toilet and wash basin, nice comfortable bed. highlight for me was the hot tub perfect to relax in and in peace and quiet surround by trees and a little river at the bottom of the garden. Convienence store about 3 miles away. Host Connor was a helpful guy and sorted out the hot tub issue we had"
