We were visiting Oceanside for a sporting event that got cancelled due to bad weather prior to our arrival. So we never ended up staying at the home. Our payment had been made a long time ago and was non-refundable but the owners were very helpful in helping us recover at least the cleaning fees. Definitely good owners to rent from and I would highly recommend booking with them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in was super easy. The home was quite comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The kids especially enjoyed the availability of the boogie boards and the games in the game closet. The parents found the super clean jacuzzi quite relaxing at the end of a busy day. Definitely a place that I would recommend.

Perfect location and home!!

Property owners were amazing. Fast and friendly communication. No problems experienced. Home was beautiful as described! Everything we needed was found. Hot tub was fantastic as was the fire piece. Location was perfect for getting around the Carlsbad area. We had a wonderful family vacation here and would definitely stay again.

Great home base for our family to explore the area

We had a wonderful stay in Carlsbad. The home was close to all amenities and especially the beach and the highway for exploring the area. We really enjoyed the hot tub after walking all day at Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo and Legoland with our grand children. Thank you for making great memories in Southern California.

Location

We went to visit family with my 91 year old father in law, daughter and friends in their late 20’s and my son, daughter in law and our 4 month old grandson. So many memories walking to the beach, lunches, spending time in the sun in the backyard and hot tub! Owners were so flexible and responsive within minutes of a request. Great supermarket across the street and church etc. Highly recommended!

Mom's 97th birthday

My siblings and I decided on Carlsbad to celebrate my Moms 97th birthday. The area was great, the property and home were beautiful ,well maintained with many amenities to support the interests of guests of all ages. The backyard was well manicured with a jacuzzi, dining area, grill and lounge area. Heather, was fantastic, she was available to answer questions, assist with recommendations on dining, local attractions and interesting places to explore. . Mom had a memorable birthday and wants to see more.Thank you!Highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed all the amenities. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to enjoy the beach this trip.The only down side is that the hot tub took long too long to heat up. Another down side is that we could not enjoy the hot tub after 10.

Loved Carlsbad

We stayed a month. All September. We found the Carlsbad village and beach to be fun and filled with things to do. The inland Carlsbad is impressive with gorgeous neighborhoods and clean industry and very good shopping. The rental home needs upgrading primarily for seating outside. The owner was a delight to work with. The biggest feedback is the location of the home. It's very noisy with street and train noise. It is not an area that is easily walked as sidewalks are in consistent and even though there are signs everywhere stating "slow down Carlsbad", the fast traffic was everywhere. Green spaces had to be discovered by car.

Delightful

This is a very comfortable house with all one needs to have a relaxing stay. The host is responsive to any needs that arise and the location is quite good, especially since the 1/2 mile walk to the beach is not an issue for families with older children. We will definitely rent this house again! Thanks Heather, for a lovely week.

Beach home close to everything for a great vacation.

Great home for family gathering with spacious dining room and kitchen. Game room and everything needed for fun at the beach. The hot tub was perfect for after ocean activities. Lots of other activies nearby too.

Great place to stay!

This is a great place to stay! It is walking distance from the beach, grocery store and in a nice neighborhood. The fenced backyard was perfect for my young grandkids. The owners are very nice and the place was very relaxing and in very good condition. I highly recommend it!

Family Time in Carlsbad

We had a wonderful experience at this well kept home in a great location. Plenty of space to gather together inside and out. Beautifully designed yard and quiet neighborhood that felt safe at all times. Multiple games found for kiddos in the office/guest room, beach toys/supplies in garage and corn hole for all in yard. Jacuzzi was a huge hit! Heather was so responsive to questions before and throughout our stay. Make sure you check out the Village Pie Shoppe and Leucadia Pizza, both a short walk away. This home is a gem, as are the hosts. Thank you for sharing your cozy home.

Family Vacation

Our family of 9 stayed at this home for a long weekend at the beach. The home is very clean and well stocked with anything you need for family dinners or trips to the beach. The location is great for access to the freeway and the beach. The owners were very quick to respond to questions we had and were very accommodating. We loved our stay and would visit again!

Great house with awesome backyard space

Great space for a family, big patio space, firepit, bbq island and big yard with cornhole provided :) Comfy beds with nice linens, walking distance to Vons for all needed items, perfect 15-minute morning walk to the beach, great restaurants nearby. Lovely private front yard with nice seating and lush landscaping

This house is incredible

The location is perfect, the store is so close it’s easier to walk to the store than park in their lot. The gas station is a block away at the freeway entrance. The freeway is below grade so you never hear it even though it’s only a block away. The street isn’t straight through so there’s no traffic driving past. This is our second stay and the highlight of our trip is always this house. Beautiful yard with a great bbq and hot tub, amazing plants and trees, the house is always clean and has all the amenities you need, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating . Completely enjoyed our stay wouldn’t hesitate on staying again.

So convenient!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this home. It was easy to get to and convenient for everywhere we wanted to go. The hosts were very responsive when we had a little problem with the TV during the Super Bowl. The house had everything you can imagine you would need. We have to say everyone we encountered during our trip (grocery store, restaurants, visiting the MidWay Aircraft Carrier) we all so upbeat and happy. What a joyful trip.
