Quiet and decent size re family room, kitchen area, bedroom with full bath, and lots of closet space, plus a half bath along entry way. Sunny balcony with view towards pool/hottub. Short drive to the beach, stores, and restaurants. The building name and number were not easily seen initially when arriving after dark, but parking was otherwise convenient during our week stay.

Fantastic stay!

We couldn't be happier with our stay at Southern Exposure and highly recommend it! So easy to check in, find our dedicated parking, and then relax and enjoy the beautiful view and immaculate property inside and out. Comfortable, quiet & spacious, with a well stocked kitchen, delightful balcony, pool and hot tub dedicated to our unit. We loved walking the property in the mornings and enjoying our downtime in between our hectic schedule. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent Property

We loved our stay at this condo. Very clean and beautiful place. The view from the patio was amazing. We took daily walks around the property and admired the beautiful flowers. Short walk to dinner on the property where we enjoyed delicious food. Loved the secure parking garage.

Cozy scenic Carlsbad stay

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this property. For 2 people, this was a spacious, clean, and comfortable room with 2 balconies with a view the beautiful greens. We look forward to future stay.

For Pickleball/Tennis Lovers

Great location. Some of the furniture is worn/outdated. Some areas were in need of dusting/cleaning but generally safe and kept up. Unit overlooks tennis and pickleball courts so make sure you don’t mind the sound. Unit includes disposable earplugs if needed. It didn’t bother me but it is something to consider.

The swimming pools for the condo units were not heated. The “smart” tv in the unit should be updated so as to be able to stream from one’s phone streaming service such as Max, Hulu etc. Good location; pretty surroundings and very quiet.

Perfect location on La Costa grounds

We use to stay at the Omni La costa at least twice a year. We will now stay at Southern Exposure. It is literally closer to the Omni main lobby and Bob's Chop house than some of the rooms at the Omni. Perfect spot, less expensive than the Omni and you have a well appointed full kitchen, everything you need for a morning breakfast. Bed was comfortable, and you have your own secure parking place in the underground garage. Great spot, we will be back.

Great condo near Omni La Costa

We enjoyed our stay the this condo. We were attending a wedding at the Omni and the condo was a short walk to the reception and resort restaurants. Rooms were very clean and exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable & Quaint

Omni La Costa grounds were beautiful. Building was quiet. Property was clean and well maintained. Pool was nice. Wireless worked well. Little disappointed on in wall AC, turned out to be sufficient with fans blowing into the bedroom when outside temp was 70, above that was not quite enough to cool full space. Recommend second AC unit for bedroom if you want to delight guests.

College move-in

Daughter needed to move into her dorm at San Marcos State University. The location was great/. It’s about a 15-20min. drive to the college. Beautiful drive thru the hills and neighborhoods. Close to a Starbucks, breakfast and lunch places. Very quiet place and beds were comfortable.

Lovely La Costa

We loved the well-appointed unit and its balcony view, as well as the protected parking space. The campus of Omni La Costa was peaceful and beautiful. We would come back! The location was central to many activities around San Diego and Carlsbad.

Quiet and Comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and convenient unit. All was as advertised and extra bonus was that the beds are extremely comfortable. We took advantage of the community hot tub and the dedicated garage parking, as well as sunning on the balcony. The unit is on the top floor of a building in a large planned community. Close to whatever you need. We’d definitely stay here again.
