As advertised, the rental is small. Everything worked but a paint job would revive it a bit. The location is very good in that the beach is just across the road and is within walking distance of a couple restaurants.Despite its location, for the unit's size, it is overpriced. I contacted the owner to ask if we could check in an hour and a half early and the answer was yes, but they charge 60 per hour for that. I had never encountered that before and find it quite petty. I'll look elsewhere next visit.

This apartment is in the perfect location, right next to the beach! It has a balcony where you can enjoy the ocean view and even sit down to breakfast or enjoy a cup of coffee. The inside is very neat, with a kitchen that has just what you need. Although the washer and dryer are not inside the unit, it was very close by, just down the stairs. We highly recommend this beachside apartment, that’s an easy walk to Carlsbad Village.

We enjoyed our stay at your property in July. The rental was clean, well stocked and quiet. All inquiries were quickly responded to and check-in and out easy. The facility amenities were great including beach chairs, etc. It will definitely be a repeat.

The property is cute and had a nice location. Communication was great with the management and they were very responsive. The air conditioning and TV worked perfectly. There was a odor that we think came from the carpet and the overall cleanliness wasn't perfect with visible stains on the furniture. Walls and paint need corrections/cleaning and simple fixable things like rusted toilet paper holders should be replaced.

The place was cute and really met all of our needs. The bed was a little to small for my husband and I. My husband loved that he could walk across the street and surf and I liked getting my steps in when I walked to the shops.

It was so nice being so close to the ocean, just cross the street and down the stairs. Also, just a short drive or walk to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable in the back corner apartment. We loved being able to walk across the street to a very nice sandy beach. The surf fishing wasn't bad either.

Pros: The space is cute and was very clean. Our check-in process was smooth and the instructions were well communicated. That was pretty much where the good communication stopped, however. The place has a great view with super quick beach access across the street. Cons: We only stayed two nights. The first night, I wanted to do laundry, and quickly realized it was a shared outdoor washer and dryer utilized by multiple units. The laundry was occupied most of the night by another guest, but I also couldn’t find the detergent they advised was provided. I messaged the host asking where the detergent was located and also to advise the stopper on the tub wasn’t working and the tub wasn’t draining properly. The stopper was not removable, so not much I could do. I never heard back from the host that night, and the next day while we were at the beach, I got a text message asking how our stay was going. I replied back that I had messaged them on the app about the stopper and the detergent. They advised the detergent was under the kitchen sink, and asked if it was ok for someone to come in while we were gone to look at the tub. I said yes, and that was the last I heard from anyone the duration of the stay. When we arrived back from the beach and ready to shower, it was clear no one had ever come and that the issue was still happening. I texted them to ask, and let them know the AC was making loud gurgling noises, and even sent a video so they could hear. I never heard back.

Location was perfect ! Walking distance to the beach, Carlsbad Village, and close proximity to our family also, whom live in town. The apartment itself was the perfect space for two of us for our short stay. It was adorably quaint. And super clean, much cleaner than most hotels I have stayed in recently, so always appreciated !

From our initial reservation to check out the communication with our hosts was excellent. The longline description is on point with the unit. It was very clean and the location was the perfect distance from the beach, short drive to Leucadia and easy access to Carlsbad Village. We also found the users guide to the unit very helpful.
