Golf getaway
The property itself is beautiful and nicely located near restaurants and a grocery store. The condo was immaculate and had everything needed plus more. The furnishings were up to date and the bed was comfy. Not one complaint. Would definitely stay again.

Alex's unit appeared to have been recently renovated with higher end details and appliances. The environment is quiet. We had many lovely walks through the resort and enjoyed the restaurant there. There is an electronic keyboard with sheet music provided! The TV was equipped with many different apps providing us access to Netflix and our Apple TV+ account. Lots of linens provided and kitchen well stocked with utensils.

Extremely disappointed
We weren't allowed to use the amenities of la Costa. The ice maker in the fridge was broken, made one solid block of ice. The microwave was way above our heads and we are 5'8 and taller! The living room TV is on its last legs, background lights shining thru, Roku TV so we couldn't watch football or regular broadcast TV. Said it had laundry but it was a combined washer/dryer. The info book said it would take 4 to 6 hours to do laundry. Went to the garage laundry, had to pay $5 to purchase a laundry card, then another 5 to actually use the machines. We even had to go buy a box of Kleenex, none provided. Will NEVER recommend this place.

Hello S Jean Lupa, Thank you for providing feedback on your stay. I apologize that you didn't enjoy yourself but, I don't feel like your review is accurate or entirely fair. Regarding the resort amenities, I clearly state in the description that the resort amenities are only available to guests of the La Costa Resort. The ice machine does make individual cubes of ice (no crushed option) and if you would have communicated that there was an issue I would have had someone come and fix it. Regarding the TV - I spent close to an hour on the phone with you describing how to use YouTubeTV (live TV) so that you could watch football at the end of which you said that it was working. I also clearly communicate in the welcome packet the instructions for operating the washer/dryer in the unit and have pre-loaded cards available for guests to use - all you had to do is ask. Finally, all you had to do is communicate that there were no kleenex available and I would have had some brought right over. That being said, I will make sure that kleenex are available for future guests. Again, I apologize that you did not enjoy your stay and hope that I get the chance to host you again and make it up to you. All the best, Alex

Very Nice!
Very comfortable stay in this 3rd floor condo on the grounds of the impressive Omni Resort and Spa in La Costa. Communication with owner was excellent. Plenty of room for two people and two bathrooms was a big plus. Our stay was very quiet. No traffic noise or noise from neighbors. Parking is very convenient in the underground garage with an elevator nearby. Very generous drawer and closet space. Main bathroom is quite large. Condo building was in very good condition, especially given that the original construction was apparently some time ago. Condo has obviously been modernized since original construction.

Amazing Stay in La Costa
We had an amazing week stay at Alex's condo in La Costa. The condo is well stocked, clean and close to everything North County SD. The king mattress was really comfortable and Alex was kind enough to look up the brand we liked it so much. Great restaurants are close by like Urban Plates, Black Rail Kitchen, Tinleaf,etc. Looking forward to coming back next summer! Thanks Alex!

Great Location!
A great location with access to the resort and all that the North County of San Diego has to offer. The bed was comfortable and it was great to have a second bathroom and a dedicated parking spot in the garage. Thank you Alex!

Perfect for Couples!
We have visited the area dozens of times over the past 8 years, and Alex's place is our top choice in the area. We recently returned for another stay and found it equally as wonderful as the first time--everything needed, great location, updated interior, comfortable, quiet, and well stocked. Cozy, dog friendly, near the beach
Perfect escape from the AZ heat with my pup. Comfortable & clean villa on beautiful resort grounds. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, we had the sliding glass doors open the entire time! Walked over to the Marketplace for a cup of coffee in the mornings, and enjoyed live music to a glass of wine at night. I like to eat healthy when, the villa had everything I needed to cook all of my meals. The salsa and strawberries at La Costa Farm Stand are amazing! Enjoyed the State St Farmer's Market on Wednesday and a sunset walk on the beach afterwards. Brought my dog to Del Mar Dog Beach. Did the 3.5 miles around the Batiquitos Lagoon. This was an R&R trip, did a lot of relaxing & walking around the dog friendly resort. Would definitely recommend this lovely place!

Quiet and spacious

Great owner
Alex was really there for us. First we needed a table that would seat four. He got us an incredible coffee table that adjusted to a dining table. Then, we were a little chilly in the bedroom and he got a next day delivery of a space heater. And, then, when I could not establish a connection with one of the streaming services, he spent 20 minutes on the phone with me to get it done. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. (There could be a few more plates and bowls.) And, the location is fantastic, being right on the grounds of the resort.

My sister and I drive out to California each year to spend a couple of weeks with family at thanksgiving. This property was so close to my sons house that it worked out great. This property is beautiful, quiet and clean. Very nice! Check in and access was great.

Nice place with all the necessities, convenient to all of Carlsbad and North Coast
Alex’s place is well located at the “front” of Omni La Costa bear the tennis courts and driving range. We were in town for a week for an event headquartered at the Omni and it was convenient for us. The bed and bedding were phenomenal which is big for us, since we usually have issues with hotel beds lol. The workstation in the living room was helpful for my SO who was working remote during the week, and the full kitchen with all necessary appliances and as also very helpful for a weeklong stay. The condo faces west/northwest towards the street side of the building so you don’t get the noise of the tennis courts or pickleball. The building was doing maintenance on the elevator and painting while we were there but it was just a minor inconvenience and Alex was always short message away and quick to reply. I would stay here again if I was coming back to La Costa in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay at Alex's condo - it's super well organized, modern and convenient. Location is perfect for a variety of activities - from surfing and beaches to the golf resort nearby. Great address, very comfortable. Clean, modern property. Plenty of shopping nearby (avoid Gelsons - $$). The grounds of the property are lovely for evening walks. Alex is engaged and accessible. We will stay again!

Everything was laid out well from directions to suggestions for local restaurants. The TV situation could be better; very limited local & cable channels with a dependency on apps that are unsubscribed. The clothes washing machine combination dryer is limited and rarely dries close completely. The condo is comfortable and clean. The resort area is beautiful.

The condo is beautifully decorated with a spacious living area, large kitchen with every modern amenity to make your stay a memorable experience. Located in the lush setting of the Omni Resort with manicured gardens and tropical plants, taking a leisurely walk is a delightful way to relax and unwind. Entry into the building and garage is very secure and the codes are easy to remember. On my next visit to Carlsbad I would love to stay here again.

Location was perfect for us. The condo is nice, kitchen is adequately stocked, check in was easy and the host was extremely responsive to questions, etc. TV took us a bit to figure out as it is streaming (which we aren't familiar with). and there isn't really a view from the unit. But it is upstairs on the corner and very quiet.

Resort environment with affordable rates. The building is older but this condo has been renovated with an upscale decor. Nice bed with wonderfully soft sheets, comforter and pillows. Great shower. Everything you need in the kitchen. When we had a question, the owner was readily available and responsive.

Nicely remodelled condo
We really enjoyed our stay at this fairly large one bedroom condo beside the Omni La Costa resort. It has been nicely renovated and the kitchen is well stocked. It is a corner unit, which is nice and it was very quiet. The building is fairly old and needs some renovations, and the elevator needs to be updated, but the actual condo was great! I would definitely stay again.
