Overall we had a good stay here. Being in La Costa we had quick access to the highway to head both north and south along the coast. There is a brand new Ralphs grocery store next door so that made getting groceries really convenient too. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. There were parking issues since the garage was under construction which made parking a bit challenging, but fortunately that was only the 1st couple days of our stay and the hosts handled all of our concerns as they came up. Hopefully that project will be done soon! The balcony provides a really nice outdoor space. But be advised that it faces the resort tennis courts so there is a lot of activity most of the day. In general the noise is just the ball being hit back and forth but if you want to enjoy your coffee in the quiet it can be a bit much. And because you are on resort grounds there is quite a bit of lawn care going on each day (that's why it looks so pretty).I think the bed linens, pillows (they were really flat) and bath towels (on the smaller side and not as thick as I like) could use an upgrade, but they were sufficient. Overall a positive experience. And I really appreciated how well the hosts communicated before, during and after our stay.
