Great location, love the vibe of the house, lovely views. My family felt comfortable and relaxed here. The kitchen is well stocked. Since it’s an older house, outlets were at a premium. About 30 seconds after pulling out of the driveway, my 18yo asked “when are we coming back” so you know it was good.

This property near Carlsbad was very comfortable and well-equipped. There were several beach chairs and boogie boards available for use. The beds and sofa were comfortable. The backyard was beautiful and the patio quiet and nicely landscaped with a huge tree giving lots of shade. There wasn't much of a beach view, but it was within a few minutes' walk to beautiful beach views in either direction. There weren't any grocery stores nearby, so if you plan on cooking in, remember to go shopping before you arrive. Parking was a little difficult because you need to back in from a busy steet up a hill to be able to safely exit the drive when leaving -- there is a lot of bike and car traffic on Carlsbad Boulevard. Tamar was very communicative throughout the process and was flexible with allowing dogs at her place. I recommend this beach stay!

We had a great time! Location was perfect and house met our needs! The front and back yards were really nice. The living room was comfy and beds were comfortable. The layout of the house was perfect for our family.

The minute we did an initial tour of the home and outdoor space we knew this place was a very homey and comfortable fit for our stay. The owner was immediately responsive when as senior travelers we couldn't figure tv remotes. She came by at a time of our wish and got us on track.

The property has been remodeled nicely. Everything was comfortable, making for a great stay. The two minute beach was a rocky surfer beach, not a place to spend the day. However, it was just a 15 minute walk north to a nice beach. It was great to have ample beach towels, boogie boards, and an umbrella to take with. The host responded quickly to all questions.

We LOVED this house! It was the best location - super close to all the best stuff in Carlsbad and Encinitas. Super roomy and comfortable for the five of us. The house was clean, decorated really cute, and welcoming. I can’t wait to book again soon.

Fabulous Beach House

We enjoyed this property so much. It is a fantastic location. It is convenient to restaurants, activities and the beach. Property is well maintained. It is very clean and cozy. The amenities were greatly appreciated!! Such as coffee, make up wipes, make up towels, lots of clean towels, beach towels, beach chairs & boogie boards, kitchen was well equipped, paper products and trash bags, etc. We loved the outdoor space In the back yard. Our beds were so comfortable and the bedrooms were large. It is a fabulous property!!

Cute Beach House

This beach house had all of the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Charming remodel of an older home that retains the coziness and vibe of the area. The wood ceiling and lovely backyard patio were especially charming. Appreciated the supply of bottled water. We were a bit concerned that the traffic from Highway 1 would be distracting, but it never proved to be an issue. I would highly recommend this VRBO.for those who are looking for a place with character and charm

Fabulous spot in Carlsbad

First things first, the house was great! Good location and perfectly outfitted for our family. Appreciated the beach chairs and such especially! Loved sitting in the chairs out front, everyone walking (or biking) by was so friendly! From the description i thought we had access to the private beach but evidently not. The beach was still pretty close. Carlsbad is one of our favorite spots and we will be back!

This home is in a perfect location, a short drive or bike ride to Carlsbad town center and a walk to the beach. Very well taken care of and decorated inside with everything you need, including beach chairs, towels, etc. The backyard is fenced with lush landscape. A perfect oasis for relaxing. With 3 bedrooms, this is perfect for a couple’s getaway or family vacation. The owner was on top of things immediately with communication and made our stay a great experience. We will definitely seek to stay here again in the future.

Carlsbad beach

We had a lovely time at this Carlsbad house. The location is lovely. There is a beach close by with stairs to go down and then tamarack beach a short drive. We found the location great for anywhere on the coast from San Diego up to Oceanside. The house itself is the perfect size for us 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house was pretty clean just missed a few little areas like food on the tv stand and the chairs in the kitchen. The backyard is so nice to relax and there is a small ocean view from the front yard. The only cons are it’s on a busy street this didn’t end up being a huge deal but we definitely heard some noise. Wouldn’t prevent me from staying again. The kitchen table was pretty wobbly but functional. And the fridge is old and has some broken parts but it worked fine. None of those things discount this lovely rental. We really enjoyed our stay. And the owner is so very nice and helpful.

Comfy cozy beach house

Our stay was very comfortable and perfect for our wedding weekend in Carlsbad. The location is awesome with a small view of the ocean and close to everything you need! The house was clean, comfy cozy, and had everything we needed. Some of the wall outlets weren’t working but other than that it was absolutely perfect! The host was responsive and accommodating! Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

Carlsbad Stay

Very nice house with awesome backyard for our 2 dogs. We enjoyed walking down by the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Highly Recommend. Great communication from Tamar.

Beach house!

Well appointed sweet beach home, with very attentive hosts! Tamar was readily available for any questions or issues. We had a small plumbing issue that was quickly resolved and they made everything right. We recommend this Carlsbad gem 😊!

Great Location

The house was in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach. It is well kept and clean. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies and the backyard was very peaceful. We enjoyed cooked out on the grill. Easy and prompt communication with the rental owner. It's a short drive to the village.
