"Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again"

"We loved this property. It was perfect for us plus our small dog. The outside space was lovely with it's enclosed garden and small wood beside. Views over to Blencathra were stunning and offered us an ideal spot to just chill out especially after some walking in the hills.Difficult to tear yourself away but will definitely return."

"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."

"We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. "The cottage was overall comfortable and fine. The outside area wasn't in a good state. Dead rabbit parts in multiple places. Hotel reception had the worst of it removed when requested. Outside bench wasn't very sturdy. Facilities inside were better, good TV, comfy bed, good water pressure, well stocked kitchen and appliances. Bathroom lacked cleanliness with a few mouldy areas. "
