"The property is located within a wholesale (clothing, shoes,curtains etc) therefore, expecting more traffics around the hotel but you can buy any products at WHOLESALE prices without haggling with the stores. And the local subway is just one block away to get around town with transfer within the subway. The hotel does Not have a proper entrance because it is located in an old building used to be a wholesale facility and it has converted into a hotel and it is located near a lot of MUST visits...

The lady that checked us in was not friendly at all and without even trying she said she couldn’t accommodate. We checked in around 3:30pm. After we insisted, she was able to find 2 rooms next to each other. "

"Room was in good condition and comfortable bed. Staff was pleasant although with limited English ability. There was no English name of the hotel on the exterior of the building or in the lobby. The hotel is on the 5th floor of an office building and the reception in the main lobby didn't know about the hotel when I showed them a Chinese translation of the English name and they directed me to another building across the street. "Pros: the grounds are stunningly beautiful. The views are incredible of downtown Chongqing. Out suite was large and clean and well appointed. Extremely close to the cable car terminal. Good food walking distance in all directions. Cons: service was iffy and inconsistent. Food onsite is limited and not very good. Overall: expensive but worth it if visiting Chongqing. "
