Beautiful

Stayed 2 weeks in this property and it was amazing. Beautiful property and scenery, Jane who was the host was very accommodating to our needs and nothing was too much trouble - beautiful sun rises and sun sets from the balcony’s outside the bedrooms - highly recommend this property!!

Clean, modern open plan family home

We loved it here! A huge garden with amazing views which the dogs enjoyed charging around. Comfy, well equipped accommodation. Peaceful surroundings. Will definitely come back again !

Great stay

Everything about our break was great. Fab, quick communication with Jane prior to stay. Check in process easy and Jane very kindly allowed us to leave cars at the cottage before official check in time. Beautiful cottage with everything needed. Location was just excellent too. Wonderful countryside but a quick drive in to CardIff itself. Thanks Jane!

Beautiful Location

We loved the location of the little barn. The drive through the narrow hedge lined roads really added to the experience. The house itself was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room and well equipped. The little welsh cakes that were left for us were delicious and very much appreciated. Jane was a wonderful host who responded quickly to any messages and was very accommodating.

Beautiful Holiday Accommodation

Loved spending time with our family at "The Gallops", so much was provided we didn't need any thing more. We had a warm welcome of home-baked Welsh cakes and bread, milk etc.... (so thoughtful) a real home from home, the children loved the huge outdoors space and their dog too. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable....we definitely recommend this fantastic place you won't be disappointed!!!

Lovely Remote Accommodation

Accommodation was very well equiped and comfortable. Our dogs were very welcome. Cows and horses are in the next field with views over to Somerset. Shops are a 10-15 min drive away

Excellent property, ideal location

The Gallops was the perfect place for us to relax in beautiful surroundings and also to easily reach family in Cardiff and Llanelli. It was lovely to see the Channel from the property and to see the horses and jockeys at the training stables next door. We even enjoyed seeing the airplanes - close enough to be interesting, far away enough not to disturb! The barn has been beautifully renovated and is very comfortable and well equipped. It was nice that Jane, the owner, popped round to see us early in our stay. We appreciated the welcome basket on arrival too. There were supermarkets nearby and plenty of places to eat out. The garden is a great space and has a good dining set at the double doors leading out from the kitchen/dining area. We visit our Welsh relations every year and will definitely stay here again - we had a great time.

The location of the property was perfect for what we wanted, peace and quiet and the feeling of being away from everything whilst being close enough to amenities when needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and the property was well equipped with everything we needed.

Gorgeous Gem

We stayed here with the in laws and sister in law and the dog and we had a great time. Jane was lovely and she has a beautiful home. Great amenities and lovely touches like homemade Welsh cakes, fresh milk and bread on arrival. Only things to note is that it is a massive garden so maybe an investment of a hot tub would make it even better! Also some more lighting outside.

The Gallops

Great location for a relaxing holiday for all ages. The cottage has been tastefully converted to a high standard, with a very homely feel. Jane was a great host very easy to communicate with at all times. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Will be recommending to family and friends.

Just Wonderful!

Oh my goodness what an amazing place! I loved it here and so did my 78 year old mother. We were both so sad to leave. The whole place is delightful and beautifully done and thought out. The garden made our dog so happy! He was ecstatic! And the horses in the field divine and the exercising of them in the morning in the fields nearby lovely to watch and hear. This was by far the best place on VRBO I’ve ever stayed! 11 out of 10 and if you want peace and tranquillity and space, which I yearn for - this is for you!

Fantastic property and a nice relaxing stay.

My wife and I (and our 2 dogs) stayed here for our wedding anniversary. We wanted to get away and totally relax and that is what we got at the Gallup's! Property is finished to a high standard and is very clean. The paddock was great for our dogs and our morning yoga. Lots of peace and quiet and the horses in the neighbouring field would come and say hello each day. Jane was a great host and was there if needed but did not intrude at all. Her home made Welsh cakes were a nice touch. We plan to return in the future! Highly recommended.

Beautiful , peaceful location and well positioned for different adventures

The house was a lovely set up and had a very homely feel. Was such a treat to see so many beautiful horses in the field. Jane was very friendly and helpful on our arrival and departure.
