We had a great time here. Redstone is one of our favorite places. This was our second stay at Cozy Mountain Cabin. Love being right on the river, we sat out there quite a bit. The cabin is very well stocked with most everything you need. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful, well equipped and organized home

Great location, and beautiful home right next to the river. Nice and private. Kitchen was amazingly stocked and organized which isn’t that common with vacation rentals. We were totally impressed. Even the glassware was extremely clean and new and organized! Home was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Appliances were virtually new and in perfect working condition.Thank you.

Riverside Cabin

Sitting by the Crystal River with a cup of tea or something a little stronger is balm for the soul. The cabin is very comfortable and so close to the river. We’d love to return.

Cabin in the Woods

This property is in a lovey wooded lot, next to the beautiful Crystal River. It is close to the Redstone amenities, while providing a bit of quiet seclusion. There was plenty of space for our dog to run around without bothering any of the neighbors. The sound of the river was very tranquil providing a great ambiance for grilling and eating outdoors. Fishing on that section of the river was a bit challenging, but there are many nearby locations with an active trout population. The cabin was a bit dark from our perspective so we had most of the lights on. It was very well furnished and organized, with an excellent shower and large bath tub. We would certainly stay there again!

Spacious but cozy cabin!

Stayed in a few cabins over the years. This one was the most spacious well-appointed clean and beautiful location. My two little dogs loved it and listening to the river all day and all night was wonderful. There is a bit of road noise but the river is quite loud as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely house by the River

The river house is set up really well in a beautiful location. It's pricey, but has everything you need, kitchen has everything, both beds were comfortable and great bathrooms. Loved sitting by the river and relaxing when it wasn't raining. Portion of the river by the house has few fishing holes, but there's plenty a few minutes upstream. The management company was wonderful to work with, refunding my pet fee very quickly when we decided to leave our dog home. Been wanting to stay here for years and so glad we did.

Relaxing Mountain Vacation

House had everything we needed. Owners provided quite a bit of information on surrounding area, including recommendations on local restaurants and hiking. We prepared most of our meals there and found kitchen to well equipped. Property managers gave us a heads up on local bear activity as did the neighbors. Bear sightings were common.

Redstone retreat

We had a wonderful time at this property in Redstone. It was the quiet space that we needed to relax between trails, float trips, fishing and wildflower trips to mesa and Crested Butte. Loved Black Canyon- did the NorthRim views. It was like we were alone up there! We visited during a July heat wave but the cabin had lots of windows and fans and remained a cool refuge. The river rushing by was like a lullaby every night. Everything needed and more was supplied in this home for an easy stay. A bear did visit one night but we were warned about that possibility.

Location is great

The rental is perfect. Clean and nice. Views are spectacular. Neighborhood is very quiet. When you cross the bridge to get there, take the very first driveway on the right (we got a little confused trying to find the entrance). River was too high to fish so for fly fishing customers know that end of may through end of June could present a melt off problem that will render the river unfishable (blown out). Be sure to check. Anyway a short trip to the frying pan yielded plenty of fish. Also we were visited by bears. So cool. Non threatening but liked the trash cans and bbq 😳.

Beautiful vacation spot

This was our second stay here. The river location is so relaxing, the wildlife is fun to watch (lots of bears while we were there), it’s close to hikes, beautiful drives, and also close to Redstone for fun and Carbondale for shopping. It’s perfect. Also want to mention the cabin has a wonderful library that includes local history and flora and fauna. Plus the best equipped kitchen ever. The owners must love to cook as do we. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We can feel the joy you have there.

On the Crystal

This is our 5th year returning to this wonderful get away. We meet our Son and his family there. It's so well set up for family, puzzles and games. The kitchen is well equipped and you can hear the river in the background. At night we sit by the river and enjoy Nature at its best.

Girl’s weekend

Came with 3 other ladies and a little dog for a girl’s weekend. Right by the river, very quiet. Very well-equipped kitchen. Lots of hot water. Could perhaps benefit from an umbrella or two with chairs by river for shade? Only 1 mile away from Redstone, lovely town. Easy, pretty drive to Glenwood Springs.

Great, quiet spot...

The cabin is located yards from the gorgeous Crystal River. The dogs had petty of space to roam while staying on the property. The cabin was clean, and the the surrounding hiking was awe inspiring. Highly reccomended.

The best mountain vacation ever!

From the moment we pulled up we knew this was a special place. The home looked quaint and well maintained. The Crystal River was roaring and could be heard day and night. The interior of the home was spotless and very clean. We enjoyed the local vacation areas including Redstone, Ruedi Dam and a drive to Crested Butte. We will go back asap.

Perfect Getaway!

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! Property is beautiful, easy to find and thoughtfully stocked. The river was still too high/fast for fishing but perfect for morning coffee, happy hour and putting us to sleep. Great neighborhood for walking around. Redstone is so charming - we visited the general store every morning -don't miss the cinnamon rolls and breakfast burritos. Propaganda Pies was closed for spring cleaning the night we stopped by, so we got pizza from Whitehouse in Carbondale (easy drive) which was great. Highlight for us was hiking to the Crystal Mill and the town of Crystal - crazy gorgeous hike - and then rewarding ourselves with way too much bbq at Slow Groovin. We will absolutely be back!!

Girls get away

A group of us got away for the weekend to celebrate a birthday, a promotion and each other. It was perfect! We soaked at Avalanche Ranch each day and returned to the cabin where we made dinner, played What Do You Meme for Nurses, and shared laughter into the night. It was a perfect place to decompress. We loved it! Very peaceful and relaxing.

Ski vacation

Thus is our 3rd time renting here and it has not let us down. We enjoy the ride up to Redstone each day after skiing. The house has everything you need from cooking to bathing. I was happy to see the new dishes. The bed has always been comfortable. Everything in the house works as it should and decorated nicely.
