Perfect little cabin in the woods!

This is a wonderful find and so well appointed -from perfect glassware to comfy sheets and fluffy towels. You will want for nothing! My husband and I stayed for four days to attend a wedding close by. This was a perfect spot. Thank you Mike and Kim for sharing your special place.

A Slice of Heaven on the Kennebec

This property is truly unique in it’s location and it’s layout. Just steps away from the Kennebec River, the cottage is outfitted with everything needed for an amazing stay. After returning from a day on the trail or the water, we sat in the peaceful yard right on the shore of the river. The beauty of the setting is amplified by the absence of neighbors next to the cottage or across the river. In addition to the comfortable chairs provided by the river, a lovely screened in gazebo provides another option for taking in the serenity. The cottage has a wonderful room off the back with windows all the way around facing the woods and the river. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has a great shower. We enjoyed cooking on the large gas grill out on the covered porch. We had our own private outdoor seating to enjoy a meal, along with an extra large hammock big enough for two. Thanks to our great hosts Mike and Kim for providing this very special place!

Slice of heaven

The cabin was a perfect break away from the hustle of life. It was extremely peaceful to wake up to the sounds of rain dripping from the leaves. We loved walking down to the river and watching the deer across the way. We raved to all of our friends how well equipped the cabin was. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and had never stayed at one like this. They had everything you could think of in case you forgot something at home. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming during our stay as well. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Lovely spot

We were there only a couple of nights as we planned a whitewater rafting excursion. It was such a lovely spot near the river. The cottage had everything we needed. The owners checked in to see if we had all we needed. The beds were comfortable and the addition of family games was welcome, especially with the rain we had while there.

Serene Cabin

Serene cabin on the Kennebec River. The cabin is impeccably clean with ample space and all the necessities. We caught many fish on the river , enjoyed kayaking. Mike and Kim are great hosts, very friendly and helpful.

Incredible hosts & location, highly recommend!

First off I’ve to say, you don’t come across people like Mike & Kim anymore. My family and I stayed at their beautiful cabin on Father’s Day weekend. The weather wasn’t what we had hoped for but nevertheless the hospitality we experienced was next level! The communication, kindness, and honesty is what you hope to find in people these days. Wish I had met Mike & Kim in person, they were great hosts. They had everything we would need provided and easily accessible. Thank you!

Totally Relaxing!

We drove in from Vermont after staying with family for four days and much activity. We loved the quietness of the cabin, the river, and the walking trails. What a wonderful way to spend the last five days of our vacation (celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary!)

The cabin was better than expected, it was clean and neat. It has everything you need and more, Kim and Steve thought of everything. Amazing experience on the Kennebec

This was an exceptional place to get away to in Maine! We loved the cabin and the location. Mike and Kim were super friendly and helpful and even brought us fresh picked strawberries! The kids enjoyed fishing in the river and skipping rocks. The adults loved relaxing by the river. We all got a huge kick out of the friendly chickens, too. :) Should we venture back to Maine in the future we would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great memories!
