Great property on the South Seas Resort. Comfortable and well equipped. While it is technically a first floor condo there are a set of steps up to the elevated first level. You'll need to pass thru a security gate to enter the complex. Unfortunately the guard did not have knowledge of our rental and we had to backtrack to the resort office. A bit inconvenient but only delayed us by 15 min. The beach is delightful and uncrowded. Restaurants nearby, most within walking distance. We would rent again.

Clean, small, but well equipped condo. 5 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, shelling scoop other pool floating items. Quiet, gaited area, quick walk to store and a few restaurants. Very relaxing!

Relaxing Trip

We really enjoyed our stay in Captiva at the South Sea Villas... Well equipped beachfront unit, close access to pool and beach. Will definitely come back. The Island is still recovering but already offering a great experience! Loved Captiva.

Paradise lost

Condo was fine.Construction on building and painting on condo patio and door was annoying.Also construction was every day from 6 am to 7pm with debris everywhere.In my opinion, the complex was not ready for guests.The plus side was no crowds.

Beautiful home

I did not stay in the original listing but was rebooked to a large house with a separate pool. It was a lovely home but due to the extreme heat the pool was quite warm. House was exactly as described and presented in great condition. The contact with kingfisher was also friendly and clear. I would book again.

Lovely view and location

The unit was clean and the kitchen adequate for a weeks vacation. The view is lovely and location convenient for walking to restaurants. We loved the comfortable beach chairs. It was cold while we were there and the furnace wasn't working but the management company was responsive.

Perfect beachfront condo on Captiva at SSIR

This condo is beautifully and comfortably appointed with beach views and steps from the beach and pools. Close to Captiva's restaurants and shopping. Towels, coolers, beach chairs, umbrella all provide to make each day at the beach enjoyable. Kitchen is well stocked and has Keurig and a regular coffee maker. We didn't do much cooking though so we could enjoy eating at all the local restaurants while on vacation.

Property Review

Good. For just two of us, it's fine. We would use this unit again. We have stayed in this unit in the past. It had an extremely slow shower drain a few years ago – and apparently has never been repaired. The use of a real estate agent lockbox for the key is cumbersome and outdated. Digital technology should be utilized. Beach chairs good, umbrellas not good. Three umbrellas – but none of them in good repair. Location very convenient. But the entire South Seas Villas property is a bit tired. Elevators frequently don't work, property maintenance seems ok, but not great.

Excellent Property

Enjoyed the sunsets from the screened porch very much. We really loved the island as it felt like we were out of the country in the Carribean. The condo was clean and provided all the beach tools needed (chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards).

Perfect location!

My fiancé and I stayed at this condo for a week and had a wonderful time! Honestly the location couldn't have been more perfect. You are literally right next to the beach and two pools! The resort was lovely and the check in process was so seamless. The only reason I didn't give this 5 out of 5 stars is because on our first night the AC was broken so the room was extremely hot and we had to buy a fan to keep it cool. I will say they responded to my email very promptly and sent someone out that night but the guy couldn't fix it till the next morning. While I appreciated the service, I was frustrated that we weren't offered compensation for the fan we had to purchase or a portion of our first night refunded. Other than that, we loved the condo and honestly would book it again if we find ourselves back in captiva.

Great Location

This unit is in a great location close to pool, beach, shops and restaurants. Unit is nice size for 2 people and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. We stayed near the end of the season so there was some wear and tear evident in the bathroom and the beach equipment.

Property was clean and well equipped! Only issue we had was bathroom drains were very very very slow to drain in tub/shower and bathroom sink! Would have been nice to have the option of using resort facilities but trip was great!

The room we stayed in was okay! But the property is showing major disrepair all over! The check in house at the gate, the sitting area at the check in place is falling apart. The landscape is well maintained! Our pool was not working and construction was being done outside our windows mixing cement! Room ok property in disrepair!

Where’s my bed!

Checking was a disaster. No welcome instruction at gate as promised. Finally got to on call maintenance man via emergency number who confirmed our reservation and met us at resort reception area, took us to unit and opened key box. All perfect from there on but a very frustrating and disheartening beginning.
