The house and location is beautiful! The only negative, which is out of the control of the owner, is that boats like to fish right beside, and/or in front of the dock and there is nothing you can do about it so while the pier and dock are private, you will have multiple boats fishing right beside and in front, within feet, of you on nice days. Otherwise the house and location are perfect.

The weather was cold but we had a great time- caught many Jacks and a dolphin show nearly every morning within 10’ off shore We cooked 80% of time and found the kitchen well appointed.
Dolphins so close - it drops off there where you see the dolphin and fish get caught making it a favorite place for dolphins to eat breakfast :)

This house was a great place to stay on North Captiva. The property manager is fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and to help with all our needs from finding a place to dock our boat to an extra golf cart and so much more. If you are looking for a great place with an amazing view this is it!

Island Paradise

The property is on a prime location on the north end of the island close to the N. Captiva- Cayo Costa pass. The house has all the amenities you need and comes with golf carts to get you to the local restaurants, beaches, clubhouse pool, etc. The outside patio and dock area is one of the best on the island. Our group caught snook, redfish, black drum, sheepshead, snapper, sharks, and other fish from the dock on lures and live bait caught right there so bring a cast net. We had three generations of family in our group and everyone had a great time. Renting a boat is a big plus as you can get to the Sanibel area and barrier islands pretty easily. I would recommend this property for any outdoor enthusiasts.

We were looking for a house last minute since our house cancelled the week before our stay. I reached out to Joe the owner and he was really accommodating for us. He made booking so easy. This was the perfect spot for our family and friends. Our son was up fishing every morning and all day and we pulled in snook and shark at night. Will definitely keep this as a favorite spot for sure! The ladies that help with the property were there at the dock to help us take all of our things up to the house. Th

Amazing!!

This is our third time on the island and this house was our favorite! Fishing was amazing! Outdoor living is very nice. We went to Over the Water restaurant for the first time and it was delicious! Such a wonderful way to relax and recharge. We will definitely be back. Cowboy Services were wonderful to work with and always quick to respond. Great vacation for all ages!

Paradise

First and foremost I want to thank the property owner Joe for everything he did before and during our stay to make it the best vacation my family and I have ever been on. The house is more amazing than any of the pictures show. The kitchen had every gadget and utensil you’d ever need. We watched amazing sunrises from the dock while drinking our morning coffee. The house was spotless when we arrived. We had many adventures on the golf carts and they were a fun way to see the island. The location of this house was perfect and I would much prefer to be on the bay rather than the gulf as the water was much calmer most of the time. The back yard was full of colorful seashells at the waters edge. We saw several manatees right at the dock during our stay. Overall the house is everything and more than we expected and would not only consider staying on north captiva again but this house would be our go to house on the island.

Best spot on the island - best host on VRBO

Two words - book it. My family and I visit the island multiple times a year. We have stayed at many different properties, and this was one of our favorite. • You get the luxury of a private beach area, a big backyard with a paved space, hammocks, ping pong, and foozeball AND a dock with green lights that goes out the farthest on that side. This is the best fishing dock on the entire island. We brought so much food and ended bringing a lot of it back with us because we ate fresh fish every night. Snook, snapper, redfish, grouper. You name it, we caught it. Fishing is an absolute blast from this dock. • The house is perfect. It’s a great size, and I love that the ground level floor has an additional living space, bedrooms and half kitchen. It makes things so much easier when your lounging on the private beach area or fishing off the dock, you have easy access to the house. Many of the houses on the island don’t have this layout and you have to go up flights of stairs to get to a bathroom or fridge, so this is a big plus! This house is perfect for groups of all types, it has everything. The kitchen is 10/10 and has every gadget and cooking tool you could ever think of. They also provided pretty much every spice one would need. • The management team and Yanet are amazing so kind and helpful, brought our live shrimp from the mainland to our front door every morning. The host and owner is hands down the kindest most accommodating host I’ve ever booked with. Highly recommend!

Best property on North Captiva

No complaints at all...property was just as advertised...and more! Manager was pleasant and available. Very comfortable no matter where you decided to relax...dock, patio, screened porch, living room. Unbeatable in regards to the water views, dock access, fishing, and location on island (short cart ride to Sunset Beach, Island Club, etc). When time and money right, we would not hesitate to book again!

Wonderful house in the perfect location

Our family has enjoyed North Captiva for years. This home is spacious, beautifully decorated, has absolutely everything you could ask for inside and then the outside - the beach, dock and location make the inside pale by comparison. It’s a wonderful home in a wonderful place. We had a fantastic trip and can’t wait to come back!

Unspoiled beaches!

What a beautiful little piece of heaven! Our family LOVED the dock where my kids caught so many fish. Fishing boats come to this area to fish. (They were delicious by the way). We also saw a 6ft Goliath Grouper, several dolphins and even a starfish at the dock. An easy walk to see the sunrise. Recommend Over the Waterfront for dinner. Cowboy Services were great and even showed us some fishing tips. We purchased the grocery delivery and would do that again in a heartbeat. It takes some planning to make sure you order enough food! Beautiful island life. But don’t get in a hurry and have patience if something is not working correctly. We had a little trouble with golf carts and gas grill, but remember you’re on a beautiful island! Over a year and half after the devastating hurricane and a lot of construction still going on. We went to Mangoes but couldn’t get a waitress to take our order and ultimately left hungry and thirsty after an hour and half. The house is great with lots of single bed options which was perfect for our family. Laundry soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, paper towels, hand soap, hairdryers all provided. Beautiful sunrises from the house and the dock-so peaceful. Big open area for family time. We are on the deck many nights as there were 8 of us-would easily fit 10 eating on the deck, only 6 in the inside table. They sent a nice app that walked you through all the logistics which was really appreciated. We had a great time!

What an amazing experience! Let me start by saying Joe and the team at Captiva were super attentive and helpful with everything. We were first timers on the island and with little kids so we had no idea what to expect but it turned out to be beyond anything we could have hoped for. The view, fishing from the pier, walks on the sand, everything was just perfect. Always traveling with kids you can image they get "bored" but they had so much fun on the sand, it was a dream come true and we can not wait to go back soon! 10 out of 10 stars!

An Island Paradise

Our stay on North Captiva was exactly what we were looking for. Isolated on a quite tropical Island but not so isolated that modern amenities were not available. The house was amazing. Only about 50’ to the Beach and Gulf of Mexico. It was serine falling asleep with the patio doors open to the island air listening to the lapping waves each night. Waking in the morning and sipping our morning coffee on the lower patio as the sun came up. Dipping our toes mid day or kayaking, hiking or renting a boat. Watching the Osprey and Pelicans drift by, shelling at our leisure. Even the rain was t disappointing as hit the metal roof in an almost rhythmic sound. We cannot wait to come back next year.

Perfect home

We’ve stayed here for several years and will co finite to do so. The home is very comfortable and convenient. Very well appointed in all aspects of the house including a very well stocked kitchen. Recently renovated inside and outside with comfortable and stylish appointments. The home also had a dock extension and the fishing is fabulous. Staying on the bay side is perfect for us with wonderful fishing and it is a short golf cart ride to the beach. Owners are wonderful people. Very kind and responsive in their communication and they have been accommodating and helpful with all our questions. This is a great place. Don’t think twice. Book it.

Family Vacation

My family and I had a great time at Latitude Adjustment. We missed our ferry to the island, but Yvena (Property Manager) was amazing and found a Captain to take us to the docks. She went above and beyond to help us. She had such a pleasant attitude and never made us feel like a bother. We did have an issue with water in the house, but the owner and property management team were quick to resolve it. They made sure we were taken care of for our entire trip. Captain Chris even came by the house to help us with shark fishing from the wonderful dock. The house was stocked with household goods, internet and cell phone signal were never a problem, and there were plenty of activities for adults and children throughout the home. The views were spectacular at every level and any time of day. We loved our stay and would gladly return (but being better prepared for no-see-ums)!
