Ready to be back

The house was just what we had expected- however we did miss the part of the one bedroom being downstairs off the main level. It is in the description so that’s on us. Our kids loved the pool and the short walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. When I did need to reach out to Kevin regarding a propane tank he got it taken care of the same evening. Vacation 10 out of 10 :)

Beautiful home and setting

Beautiful new furniture and fully stocked kitchen. All the bathrooms were new. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and our children came with us. We all love Captiva and haven’t been back for 8 years.Fishing trip, jet skis and ice cream. Every day on the beach.I found the 4th bedroom in the cabana a little disappointing. It was advertised accurately. But if 4 adult couples are staying it is less than ideal

GOAT Award for a family getaway!!

We’ve stayed in the area on several different spring break trips. We’ve been on the super private North Captiva, the upscale homes of Marco Island and areas of Estero Island. But this house on Captiva takes the cake for the Greatest of All Time trip. 1. It’s so close to the beach you really get the best of both worlds, a nice private escape with a pool and hot tub while also being on a beach. The town is also so close the teens could safely walk to the store on their own or go down to the beach even when the rest of us were done with the beach and the sun for the day. 2. The sleeping space and hangout space was just right. With a large family people can get tired of being together all of the time on a trip. This house accommodates the teens who want privacy to watch the latest slasher flick safely away from the kindergartner who wants to watch Bluie all day, and the mom who wants peace and quiet while she puts together a puzzle. Everyone could have their space! Even the hard working dad who needs to check-in at the office had a space for work.3. Proximity to everything else. The location could not be better. You’re a quick 15 minute drive to anywhere on the island and within walking distance to several restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book this home. It’s better than even the pictures can reveal.

Exceptional in every way .

10/10 family vacation rental . Location is great steps to the beach and a five minute walk to the island store or green flash . Layout of house is perfect . Immaculate . Kitchen has everything you need . Great living space with large flatscreen tv. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and tv . Outdoor space is fantastic . Brand new grill , beautiful pool and hot tub . Four new bikes in the garage as well as all the beach chairs and umbrellas you need . Owners respond immediately to any questions or issues ( we had no issues ) . Would rent this house again in a heartbeat

Paradise That Feels Like Home

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house is very well stocked including chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The pool was refreshing after getting back from the beach and the grill was perfect for making a family dinner. The pool and ping pong table were perfect for late night fun. We will definitely be back.

We made many wonderful memories staying at Poppy’s Paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be back in a heartbeat. The house was clean and spacious. Our only complaint was the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool. Would recommend this home to any of our close friends or family!

Great Stay at Poppy’s Place

We had an incredible vacation at this charming Captiva Island beach house! Our two families stayed together, and the house easily accommodated all of us. It truly felt like a home away from home. Comfort and Convenience: The house was not only very nice but also incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, from spacious bedrooms to a well-equipped kitchen. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made our stay enjoyable. Fantastic Pool Area: The pool area was a highlight! We spent lazy afternoons lounging by the pool, sipping cold drinks, and soaking up the Florida sun. It was the perfect spot for relaxation and family fun. Short Walk to the Beach: The location couldn’t be better. Just a short walk away, we discovered an amazing beach with powdery sand and crystal-clear waters. Sunsets were breathtaking, and we even spotted dolphins playing offshore.

Great beach house

Wonderful house

Aah!!! Poppy's Paradise was a wonderful house for our family! The location was outstanding, it was spotless, and communication with owner was so easy and prompt. We all loved the pool area. The house also had many great amenities that were so appreciated. The roomy space worked so well with our family of adults, teenagers and babies. We all loved our stay there.

Even better than the photos!

High end and very well-maintained home. Where to begin with how wonderful this house is?? First, the house is so close to the beach - I’d estimate it at between 100-200 yards away and about a 3 minute walk from the house. Wow! We were also a couple of blocks from several restaurants and some of the most well-known spots on Captiva, like the Bubble Room (try their spot Boops! Delicious!). We liked the pizza place as well. The home is spacious and was very clean. The outside screened-in deck is so nice to have, and the very warm pool and decadent hot tub were very much enjoyed by our crew. The owners are so very lovely and responsive and have thought of everything! The house is well stocked with all you need in the kitchen, including high-end pots and pans, a zillion kitchen implements and tools, and even Tupperware for guests to use. The garage has several bikes and lots of beach gear, including a wagon our little ones got to ride in. I can’t say enough about this home. I tried to immediately book the house for the same week next year and it’s already booked - not surprised! We were a family of adults, teens, kids, and toddlers and this house worked and had enough space for us all. If you are considering booking this home, just go ahead and end your search here. You will love it!

Poppy’s Paradise is Perfection

My family absolutely loved the spacious, gracious, well thought out amenities of this beautiful property. The walk to the beach is easy and the walks to the grocery store and restaurants are quick as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house
