Instructions were well laid out and parking was simple. Host was so super responsive and accommodating. The bungalow is so cute and my kids really enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Will book again!

Charming beach bungalow

This was a very pretty and clean little bungalow. The renovations are nice and have smartly retained many charms of a vintage beach house making it a cheerful and happy place for me and my mom. We were comfortable sleeping in the bed and on the fold-out couch. The upper loft seemed very warm and took a fair amount of coordination to get in and out of so, nobody tried sleeping there but kids might get a kick out of it. The shower is nicely lit, clean and powerful, I really loved that part. Check-in was easy and communication was good. The town is thriving and we had great food and fun shopping. We found parking just a few blocks from the bungalow, two times, after looking for only about 5-10 minutes. The little town can get crowded sometimes but is very special in all the charm it has to offer. Overall we are very pleased with our stay.

Great Capitola cottage!

We loved staying at this place. Cozy, comfortable, so close to Capitola Village shops, restaurants and beach. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. It took us some time to figure out the parking situation because the parking spot adjacent to the property was taken most of the weekend. But the nearby public lot next to the police station was fine for all day and overnight parking. We just had to remember to feed the meter between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. We did not use the small upstairs loft, so the place was perfect for the two of us. My only comment would be that I would have liked screens on a window or two so we could enjoy some airflow without letting bugs in. Overall though, a great place to stay!

Nestled in the heart of Capitola Village, this bungalow is a true gem! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and charm. The location couldn't be more perfect, just steps away from the picturesque river walk and all the vibrant attractions of the village. The bungalow itself is simply delightful. Thoughtfully decorated with a beachy vibe, it instantly puts you in vacation mode. The cozy living space invites relaxation, whether you're lounging with a book or enjoying a movie night with loved ones. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal, and the dining area is ideal for enjoying leisurely breakfasts before heading out to explore. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the river walk. Morning strolls along the water's edge were incredibly peaceful, offering a serene start to the day. And with the beach just a short walk away, we were spoiled for choice when it came to outdoor activities. The comfort of the bungalow extended to the bedrooms, where we found restful nights' sleep on cozy beds. Waking up refreshed and ready to seize the day was easy in such a tranquil environment. The host was fantastic, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Overall, our stay at this bungalow exceeded all expectations. Thank you!

Very small

Though the place was just as pictured the pictures were deceiving. The square footage must be no bigger than 400 square feet. When it said it slept 6 I just imagined a larger area that this. The lost felt like attic space and no one was able to sleep there. You couldn’t stand up or even kneel in the space. There were three of us and one ended up having to get a hotel. It was clean and no major other than it felt like a Barbie house.

The house is small but cute. There were mouse dropping in the loft and down stairs open room. The couch bed was usable. Could feel every spring. House is very affordable but isn’t kept up well. Talking with property manager was a waste of time. Just really didn’t care at all. Won’t stay here again
