"Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay."

"Vi var mycket nöjda med detta lugna fina läge på landet. Familjär stämning nära till många fina vingårdar och golfbanor. Ägarfamiljen mycket mån om oss gäster, fin ren pool. Vi kommer tillbaka till Hoopenberg."

"Nice property but they weren't very accommodating. We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner "

"We enjoyed our stay here. Some tips would be to ask for a hot breakfast be made for you as thebuffet goes quickly unless you are the first guests to make it to breakfast. We also found the room to be a bit warmer than we liked but could not control the temperature to make it colder. The location is easy to walk to the local area/downtown an an easy drive to the wine areas."

"Tolle Unterkunft. Sehr gepflegtes Anwesen mit geräumigen und schönen Zimmern. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Frühstück 1a. Die Außenanlagen und der Pool laden zum Verweilen ein. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt, wir würden sofort wieder buchen."
