We had such a wonderful week in Cape Vincent! Tall Timbers was breathtakingly crafted, relaxing, and more than we could have asked for. Our hosts were friendly, always available, and Becky shared great local spots to visit. The Stewart family made our stay special, and I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for offering such a lovely home for this adventure!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay that tall timbers. It is worth the price if you have a big family with you. The home is beautiful and unique! Good quality everything in the home. The yard is huge with a swingset, nice fireplace, outdoor seating area on the deck, a full Court for Pickleball or basketball. We took advantage of the cornhole that was there. We cooked a lot inside and outside and their outdoor black top grill came in handy. The kitchen had everything that we needed.The closest town was about 15 minutes away, which had a good grocery store. The closest beach ( cedar point) was about 10 minutes away and we enjoyed a few sunsets in Cape Vincent, which was about five minutes away. I was also able to go kayaking from the public dock in Cape Vincent. The neighborhood in which the house is located is very quiet and you can see many stars at night.The hosts were very responsive and kind people. We had a few issues with the hot tub and TVs in the rooms and they were on top of fixing any issues. We would def return!

Beautiful, spacious home with great outdoor space for activities or just relaxing. Not far from Clayton or Alexandria Bay to enjoy the 1000 Islands. Hosts were super helpful and friendly! Even the dogs had a great time! 10 out of 10 stars!

Tall Timber Lodge is a beautiful home on a quiet setting. We wanted a special place as we were traveling with family, and we were not disappointed. Everyone loved the home, including the kids who took over the theater room wing of the home. We felt right at home and very comfortable. All the beds were perfect. We all agreed we would want to come back to the same rental.

Great visit to Thousand Island

Home was clean, well maintained & full of all you would need. House & BR were comfortable. Nice features with deck, dog yard, bluestone for BBQ, FirePit & lots of outdoor games.

Amazing cabin weekend

My family was looking for somewhere to stay to get together for a long weekend and this property was perfect! Beautiful kitchen for cooking family meals, lots of indoor and outdoor games to keep you occupied and of course the beautiful hot tub! My parents are already looking forward to coming back!

Relaxing Sanctuary

Staying at Tall Timbers was a real treat, with its gourmet kitchen and stunning features throughout the home. Check in was seamlessas was all communication with the owners Becky & Mark. The home was clean, comfortable and as advertised. The outside spaces were also special. Thank you to the Stewart’s for hosting and sharing such a magnificent home. We look forward to returning.

Amazing Stay

We came for a family vacation with our adult kids and their spouses. The property and amenities were amazing. The house was spacious and had such a homey feel. Everyone loved the house and agreed that if/when we come back to the 1000 Lakes, we will definitely want to stay here again. Becky and Mark were very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We highly recommend Tall Timbers and the Stewarts.

Wonderful Stay!

Family Vacation

Beautiful home. Owners were very attentive and accommodating. We are familiar with the area but Mark and Becky gave us a few options we didn't know about. Our kids were able to bring their furbaby on this vacation which made them extremely happy. Duke loved Wilson's Beach which was new to us and was a great place to explore.

Beautiful Timber Framed House

The wife and I met up with a few of my college friends and their families to see the April 2024 Total Eclipse. The house was gorgeous, as a group of engineers, we were all discussing the finer parts of quality old school construction of a house built with solid timbers and hardwood dowel pins. The location was great, a few minute drive from the village of Cape Vincent (check out the Coal Docks if you go!), and about 15-20 minutes to the rest of the 1000 Islands attractions (we did a boat tour and wineries). As a host Becky was very gracious, she responded quickly to messages on VRBO and texts, she also caught us on the Ring doorbell as we fumbled to figure out how to get in after a long 9 hour drive. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The house has absolutely everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. As owners of a sign shop next door, practically everything is labelled in the house. We would all love to go back and stay again.

Excellent Lodge to Explore the 1000 Islands

Tall Timber Lodge is a great home base to explore the 1000 Islands. Well situated between Clayton and Cape Vincent, many attractions and wonderful parks are close by - including easy trips to Canada. The Lodge is unique structurally and visually pleasing. It is well appointed and clean. Beds are comfortable and linens and towels are high quality. Lots of homey touches. The backyard is a gem with a hot tub, pub, fire pit and outdoor bathroom and shower. Perfect for starry evenings capping off busy days. Becky is a great host - responsive and helpful and very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would return to the Lodge when in this area again.

Stay was ok, felt like we were being watched all the time which made all of us uneasy, and to pay a cleaning fee then have to throw towels in laundry and strip beds did not make us happy But the home was nice enough a bit dusty I would not stay again

Amazing Property

Tall Timbers Lodge was the perfect place for our family vacation. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the open floor plan of the kitchen/living room area was perfect for family time. There is plenty to do while staying on the property, you can use the hot tub, play outdoor games or indoor games. Tall Timber Lodge is centrally located and a short drive to everything. We will definitely be back!

Home away from Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Tall Timbers and the Thousand Islands region. The house was as advertised and clearly made us feel like home during our two week stay. We plan to be back again soon.

Awesome clean accommodations, don't pass this house up!

Check in process was simple. Well maintained property, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook inside and the outside had a terrific grill. Outdoor area was beautiful, we enjoyed the spa, basketball net, ladder ball, corn hole, the tiki bar and fire pit. All the amenities were exactly as discribed, beds were comfortable and entire house was clean. Becky and Mark were prompt responding to our questions. The dog kennel was also a nice perk!! The Thousand Island area has a lot to offer. Don't pass on this place!

Family reunion

Came for a family reunion in Mud Bay. Tall Timbers was a great place to stay. Will definitely be back! Only disappointment was that the fitness center is no longer available. As we have a boxer in training with us- the availability of the advertised gym played into our choice of accommodations. Also had to ask for the DVD player and x box as they were not in the house. Becky and Mark were very quick to respond tho.

What a wonderful experience!

The Tall Timbers Lodge is beautiful. There was plenty of room, the beds were all comfortable, three full baths with showers were excellent, although one of our guests loved the outdoor shower and used it twice. The kitchen is lovely, and my daughter wanted to stay there! It is extremely functional. We loved sitting on the deck, or around the firepit at night. We only have a couple of suggestions: I was using a cane to walk, and the stairs to the kennel could use a handrail (no one else had a problem there, though) and the queen bedrooms could use air conditioning, as they got a little too warm, even with the fans going.

Amazing Vacation Rental

This was our family’s second summer at Tall Timbers Lodge for summer vacation, and we love it! All of the amenities of the house and outdoor living space more than make up for not having a rental on the river. We are already booked again for next summer. Becky and Mark are wonderful hosts. Highly recommend!

Terrific Tall Timbers

Becky and Mark could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed museums, boat ride, tours. We visited with family that stayed at the house in addition to others that visited. All enjoyed the fire pit and smores. 8 stayed in the house and we did not feel crowded. It was a great week and we will return when we can.
