Whilst the location of this house was perfect for exploring the cape and surrounding areas I was disappointed by the fact that the house smelt very musty on arrival with all the blinds in all the rooms closed, none of the beds were made up at all and the dining chairs were stacked on the dining room table which didn’t feel like a very warm welcome. Most people get away to relax and having to make up beds etc on arrival doesn’t make for a good start. Overall the house felt very tired and worn and could definitely benefit from an airing prior to guest arrivals along with some new linens.

Great location. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely weekend away here, just a short walk to the beach to watch the sunset, gorgeous. Such a cozy and easy place to stay at. Lots of character. Well informed by the host. Loved the outdoor area and BBQ.

Great location and homey

We had a great time at the Fitzgerald. Just what we needed to enjoy the long weekend. The house was great and very homey, clean, lots of space and fully equipped kitchen and family friendly. Great location with just a short stroll to the beach. Will definitely be back.

Lovely relaxing house , nice walk to beach

Stuart's house has an awesome homely feel , very clean , weather was cool enough to relax with a wine around the combustion fire . Quiet little town . The house is a short walk to an awesome beach , would love to go back when the weather is a bit warmer to swim in the rock pool .
