"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. "We were thrilled to stay here. It was everything and more that it was represented to be. We stayed for over a week, used it as a home base to see all we could see of Nova Scotia. "Excellent place to stay near Guysbourgh. So quiet you can hear your own thoughts and no light pollution so you can see all the stars. Only small issue was people before us had a dog so we had a slight wet dog smell in the apartment but it was dealt with quickly."
