Peaceful

Was very comfortable. Was stocked with all necessities. I did have to fill up both propane tanks, for the grill and the fire pit! Other than that, it was an amazing place to decompress from my hectic life. Will definitely be back next year!

Wow - What a House!

From the first glance inside the front door - all you can say is WOW! From the amazing kitchen, to the billards room, to the deck, lanai, pool, hot tub, outside bar, the tiki hut on the dock - this is it - a vacation unto its self. This house was perfect for a post covid family vacation! Perfect! This is a great house!

Lovely Sanibel Shell

We were here for 2 months and have stayed in rental properties the last 4 years, and must say this one was equipped with an excellent amount of pots pans bake ware and dishes. Also they provided dish and hand soap to get you started along with some other amenities. The home was one of the cleanest we have stayed at. With Covid this was much appreciated.

WORST EXPERIENCE

Due to the covid-19 mandates/travel restriction I had to put in a request to cancel. I did this request through the VRBO web site where I had booked my vacation. There was a special cancellation called a “Public Emergency”. I did this request in April. The owner told me via my personal email NOT through the VRBO web site that I was not getting a refund that I signed HER contract that stated there was a 20% nonrefundable on it. I explained to her that I was canceling because the state of Florida was closed and travel was restricted. I reached out to VRBO asking for their assistance with the matter and they told me that I had to again send the owner of the property an email through the VRBO web site so that they could trace the process. I have even made international calls to the owner to discuss the matter. Today is 7/21/2020 and I still have not heard back from the property owner or VRBO about my refund that VRBO keeps telling me I am in titled to. I SO RENTERS BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY!

Beautiful Villa Vacation

The Villa was beautiful, well equipped and clean. The location was perfect with grocery, restaurants, and shopping within minutes and only a 30 minute drive to the beaches. The property manager was responsive and very helpful and the Owner was delightful to work with. If you are looking for a quiet luxurious Florida then Villa Sanibel Shell is the perfect place to stay.

Close to Paradise

The house is beautiful. We had three families and everyone had plenty of room for sleeping and socializing together. The pool and hot tub are amazing. One grandson kept asking if he could go in the box, he loved the jet spray! The shallow end with the chairs was perfect for the little ones to splash in. Our oldest granddaughter never wanted to come out of the pool. We also liked the lanai with the fans. We adults played games outside under the fans, while the little ones slept. Having quite a few parks in Cape Coral for the kids to play was also a bonus. I would recommend this house and would love to return some day!

Amazing location!

The house was exactly like the pictures on line. Everything in the house was top of the line. All the little extra things were very convenient like beach chairs, cooler , bikes and more. The homeowners and manger are very nice and we enjoyed the welcome gift that was waiting for us upon arrival at the home. My family enjoyed the house so much it was hard to get them to go out. They truly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location is centrally located to a host of stores, restaurants and supermarkets. We were a family of all adults but they have plenty of things for kids on hand. All you need to stay here is your Family and food. I highly recommend this home and will stay here if we come back to Cape Coral.

Your Own Private 5 Star Resort

No hesitation in recommending this wonderful home. It has EVERYTHING you need for a wonderful family vacation. The pictures do not do this place justice because it is even more beautiful in person. We have been renting houses in Florida for 5 years now and this was by far the most remarkable. The kitchen is well stocked. Top notch appliances, big refrigerator, nice stove - everything you want or need. Plenty of seating The amenities are first class offering plenty of towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, pool table and more. Also, being able to actually park in the garage was a plus. The lanai area was our favorite from having the tv and comfortable furniture to the fire-pit where we made s’mores. The outdoor kitchen with sink and refrigerator were an excellent addition. Loved being able to ride bicycles, take the kayaks out on the canal and fish from the dock. Caught a variety of fish. The tiki hut provided seating and shade for an even more enjoyable experience Lastly, Stephanie the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. She was always quick to respond to any and all our questions. We would recommend this property to anyone and can't wait to come back next year.

Clean, updated house.

The house had all of the amenities we were looking for. The pool was great. There was one kayak that we were also able to use. Bikes were available, but we never had a chance to try them out. Overall, the owners were very response and the property manager was great too. I would recommend this house.

WOW! Amazing property!

Highly recommend this home for your vacation stay. The layout was perfect, large kitchen and living room area, very open. House was well equipped with everything you need! The pool/patio area was great, lots of seating and outside TV along with oversized relaxing hot tub. The location is central to everything you need in Cape Coral. This was my 1st stay in Cape Coral and loved it! A must stay if you come to Cape Coral/Ft Myers area.

Eine super schöne, gepflegte saubere und perfekt ausgestattete Villa. Es fehlt an nichts! Der Aussenbereich ist absolut spitze. Tolle Lage am Kanal und in direkter Nähe zum Supermarkt. Super netter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Sehr gerne wieder :-)

Das Haus ist der Hammer. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an mega wohl gefühlt. Die Küche sowas von perfekt ausgestattet und der Außenbereich ein Traum. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Strasse . Mit dem Auto kommt man bequem zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie z.b. Walmarkt Restaurants tollen Stränden etc. Selten ist uns ein Abschied so schwer gefallen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Bedanken möchten wir uns auch für die freundliche Einweisung vor Ort und auch Frau v. Laak , die immer für alle Fragen ansprechbar war.

Perfekt trifft es nicht!

Wir durften in der Villa Sanibel Shell einen perfekten Urlaub verbringen. Einen herzlichen Dank für die tolle Betreuung vom Anfang bis zum Ende durch die Familie van Laak. Das perfekt ausgestattete Haus lässt keine Wünsche übrig, hier findet man alles was das Herz begehrt und noch viel mehr. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft. Mit dem Boot am eigenen Dock haben wir tolle Ausflüge erleben dürfen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, das steht fest!

Absolutely Amazing!

Totally recommend! This house was more than a five star in our opinion. You will not be disappointed, everything was clean, organized, and well layed out. Perfect for traveling with other families with more than enough room. Pool and outside patio were great. Very quite neighborhood, lots of restaurants and grocery stores under a 5 minute drive. Stephanie was great to work with. Never delayed with responses and was very helpful with my many questions. We would book again in a heartbeat!! Beaches are great too. 30 minute drive to Ft Meyers beach depending on traffic. Book now if available, you will not regret it. Cheers. Don't listen the 1 star review!

Einfach Traumhaft

Wir haben uns während des 2 wöchigen Aufenthalts im Dez.16/Jan.17 in der Villa Sanibel Shell sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Poolbereich mit Blick auf den Kanal ist eine richtige Erholungsoase. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und modern ausgestattet, man findet alles was das Herz begehrt. Das ganze Haus und jeder einzelne Zimmer spiegeln die Qualität und Liebe zum Detail wider. Ein wirklich tolles Haus und auch der sehr nette Kontakt mit der Verwalterin trägt zu diesem schönen Gefühl dazu bei. Die ganze Abwicklung vor und während des Aufenthaltes war bestens. Auch das ein- und auschecken mit der sehr netten Verwaltung Vorort lief reibungslos, vielen Dank dafür. Danke auch für das Willkomensgeschenk :-) Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit neuen Erfahrungen, vielen Erlebnissen und traumhaften Erinnerungen...eines steht jetzt schon fest, WIR KOMMEN WIEDER! Wunderschöne Villa

Wir hatten einen super tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Sanibel Shell. Der Check-in und Check-out verlief schnell und unkompliziert und die Betreuung vor Ort war freundlich und stehts erreichbar. Wir waren 2 Familien mit je einem Kleinkind. Die Kinder fühlten sich sofort zu Hause und Platz für uns alle war reichlich vorhanden. Die Villa lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Küche ist bestens ausgestatet, das moderne Wohn- und Esszimmer ist sehr gross und hell. Die Schlafzimmer sind grosszügig und bieten viel Stauraum. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Aussenbereich ist traumhaft, sehr schöner Pool, grosser Esstisch und gemütliche Lounge. Die Bilder auf der Homepage halten was sie versprechen. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und freundlich und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir können die Villa Sanibel Shell nur weiterempfehlen.

Traumhaus

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dieser Villa! Die Bilder auf der Homepage lügen nicht..... Viel Platz, ruhige Nachbarschaft aber doch sehr gute, zentrale Lage in Cape Coral. Die Einrichtung ist hell und modern, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Aussenberreich wurde natürlich am meisten genutzt. Aussenküche mit Grill, Liegestühle, Lounge mit Feuerplatz und dann noch der grosse Pool..... Die Betreung vor, während und nach der Reise durch dienVermieterin bzw. die Hausverwaltung war sehr gut. Wir können diese Villa direkt am Kanal mit Bootsdock uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
