Great Home With A View

This home was as advertised, starting with the views of the lake that start at the front door. Wow! The check-in directions were good, and we had no problems accessing the home. The home was very clean when we arrived. The furnishings were nice, and the beds were comfortable. The master bath was huge. We liked the open shower and large walk-in closet. We really enjoyed the comfortable lanai and the heated pool. The kitchen was well-equipped for eating in, although we enjoyed many of the local restaurants. We had a great time exploring the lakes and the canals with the kayaks. The home is in a good location. We had reasonably close access to parks, restaurants, Fort Myers Beach, and Sanibel/Captiva. We would definitely recommend this home to others!

Very nice home

Overall this house was great. Our family had a wonderful time. Getting to the 'bigger' beaches took a little more time. FMB was just a half hour away and that was really nice. The home overall lacked a few amenities but we made due and bought extra items and left them. The listed had mentioned board games but we were not able to find them. The pool area was really nice. The whole family enjoyed the pool, it was a nice temperature since it was already heated the solar heater seemed to run at odd times but the pool was warm when we were in it so no complaints there. I do wish that there were some handing blinds or something in the master bedroom. There were only 4 panel curtains that went over the large sliding doors that went out to the pool. They left gaps and you could easily see inside the bedroom from the outside. I would recommend this home to others for sure. Its a rental so its going to have its flaws and everyone is different and things that werent up to my standards may not be a problem for others. There were some beach toys and we had left some down there. We had bought an umbrella and screw. We left those as well. Hopefully the next people got some great use out of them as we did.

Overall a beautiful place

The property was amazing. The deck / water were perfect for fishing. The house was clean and well stocked with all essentials. The only issue I had was that the pool was not heated warm enough for my liking after paying the extra cost to heat it. They stated it was 86 but it was not. I did call but after 12 hours of no one showing up, I cancelled the call because the pool cleaner was coming the next day anyway. Also, the pool fountain runs most of the time and if very loud, I asked about being able to shut it off but did not get a response. Again, this was the only issue - everything else was great.

RENTERS BEWARE

We had planned this vacation months in advance and we’re concerned after Hurricane Ian hit SW FL. I had inquired if the property had sustained any damage and was assured there was only minor damage and everything had been repaired and there were no issues. Upon check in late on a Sun evening, the minute we walked in, there was a very distinct odor that appeared to us to be mold. The temp in the home was 80 so we called and reported the smell and said we would cool the home down and see if it improved. No change on Mon and we requested to be moved. The property mgmt company could not find us a suitable replacement and in the end - I had to re book through another VRBO and we lost almost 2 full days of our vacation dealing with moving and then at least a dozen phone calls and escalations to get our money refunded. If you plan to stay at this location - demand to know if the property has been repaired and is mold free.

Beautiful Home and Pool in a Quiet Neighborhood

The property was amazing. It was hard to ever leave because everything my family needed was at the house. It is a beautiful property with plenty of room for my family. All rooms had smart tv's which was nice and the pool was amazing. We used the kayaks they had available and even weny fishing off the dock. Made some great memories at this place and will definately keep it in mind next time we are in the Cape Coral area.

Quiet with good amenities

Good location, nice an quiet...good outside area and actually had beach stuff, bikes ect. This was definitely a plus since we've stayed at places that said they had beach equipment but you get there and its junk.

Little Slice of Heaven

This house is just as it is in the photos! Everything is comfortable, the views are beautiful, the pool area is wonderful! We loved our time here & definitely want to go back. There were a few little issues with the TV's & such, but management was responsive. Other than that, it was perfect!

Great Getaway

We had a great time and was very impressed with the property. The pool is great and my husband loved fishing in the canal. It close to the beaches and all of the restaurants near by are great! Fish Tails, Chicago Pizza and Ralph's Place was our go to restaurants. The house has an amazing master suite with a huge bathroom! We would stay again!

Great house!

Enjoyed our stay here! House had all the amenities you could need on a vacation. Even had top door locks on all the sliding doors, which is great when traveling with little kids! Makes it impossible for them to get to the pool area. Close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this rental!!
