Great Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay in Florida and the accommodations! Maggie (host) was very responsive and helpful to us. The neighborhood was quiet and the property backs right up to the canal. The pool was lovely to swim in and very clean. We did not make use of the bikes, but they were ready and waiting when we arrived. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful stay. Perfect home.

Pelican was a perfect home for 3 Mom's and kiddos! Each family had their own room, one master and the other two rooms shared a full bathroom on the other side of the living room and kitchen. Pool was clean and there was ample swimming toys for the kids. We spent a lot of time on the canal and bought bait for the kids to fish just 1.2 miles away for $5 a bag. The location was great. Close to shopping, but tucked back in a quiet neighborhood. We will stay at Pelican again if we return to Cape Coral. Thank you Maggie!

Great place!

Very clean house and neighborhood. Kids loved the pool and it was a bonus to find pool floaties available! Also found a fishing rod in the garage, bought some lime and our son was able to fish off the dock in the canal which made him so happy! This house has everything you need for a nice quiet family stay in Cape Coral. Thanks Maggie!

Relaxing 2 month stay

Outstanding pool and lanai. Walking distance to grocery store. Great nearby restaurants. Provided bikes great working condition. Property owner was very attentive to our inquiries. Would stay here again.

Impeccable comfort

Upon arrival and opening the door, this home is inviting and impeccably clean. All of the furnishings are very nice, well-kept, and match the photos exactly. It felt so much like my own home, I was comfortable immediately. The sheets were super soft too. I wish I knew where to buy them! All the amenities of home. Very well-stocked kitchen with a robust selection of spices and utensils; better than most vacation homes. (I may have donated a pair of kitchen tongs to the assortment. Lol) Great location too! I love that it's not on a super busy canal with lots of traffic, but still very close to the main canal and the beach was only 20-30 minutes away. I think Publix was even walking distance. It was very quiet and more private than I expected. Maggie was an excellent host. Super responsive and friendly. Thanks Maggie for sharing your home!! I had an amazing time floating in the pool and paddle boarding off the back dock. Can't wait to come again!

Great home for a relaxing get away!

Overall we loved the house. We spent most of our time outside in the pool, hot tub, or relaxing on the lanai. The outdoor TV and ceiling fans were a nice touch. It's a quiet neighborhood which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the pool. There was plenty to do nearby. The Publix a couple blocks away was super convenient to grab some food to make at the house. We liked several of the restaurants just a few minutes away - Pinchers, Rib City BBQ, Iguana Mia, and Ford's Garage. It was a short drive over to Sanibel Island. It's also convenient to get to CenturyLink Sports Complex to catch the Twins in Spring Training. The only negatives were a lack of water pressure in the master bath shower and mismatched towels/washcloths. Since it was just two of us we used the other shower instead. While there were plenty of towels and washcloths it would be nicer if there was a matching set. Not a huge deal and we still recommend staying here. We'd stay again if it's available the next time we're in the area.

Newly renovated, great facilities, comfortable lounge and beds.

Loved the large screen TVs in all rooms including the lanai, all with premium cable channels and Xfinity. Superfast WiFi. Pool and hot tub great. Didn't have a boat this trip but the dock at the door would be fantastic for boaties. We love to cook (indoors and out) and the new kitchen appliances were great but we were a little dissapppointed with the BBQ and the lack of some kitchen gadgets. This is the only reason we rated the property as a 4 not. 5. I am sure Maggie will attend to that very soon. She is very responsive and keen to please. We ventured out on the new bikes to explore the neighbourhood and the many public parks in the area. Saturday morning farmers market was great (loved the sausages). We loved staying here and would be sure to return next time we visit the area. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday with all the mod cons and amenities.

Very well kept. Very functional. Had everything we needed .

We are sorry to see our time end. Beautiful house. Loved the pier. Kids went fishing. Loved the pool and lanai area. We cooked on the grill. The owner Maggie is absolutely wonderful. Hot water heater broke & she fixed it the next day! She is super quick with responding. We are hoping to come back again soon! The area is great! Lots of fun stuff to do. Loved the Boathouse, Rib City, and Pinchers was excellent. Boys played golf. Nice course! Nothing bad to say! It's beautiful with all the canals. Next time we will rent a boat before we come down. That's the only thing we would do differently. All were rented out:-(. Thank you Maggie for everything! Fabulous family memories made!

Fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It is exactly like the photos! The home was immaculate and had all of the features needed for an excellent vacation. It is situated in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood within easy biking or driving distance to all the sights in the area. The pool patio area is a lovely spot to spend the afternoon soaking up the sun and relaxing. There is a very well equipped kitchen in which you can easily prepare your meals. It is lovely to be able BBQ and then sit outside and enjoy your meal in the pool patio area. Open the sliding glass doors in the living room and create a lovely indoor/outdoor living space. Maggie is very responsive to any questions you might have and is intent on making your visit as lovely as possible. I highly recommend staying at this house as it truly is a little bit of heaven!
