Two weeks in heaven!

We just ended our two week stay and absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful and in a great location. It’s not directly on a main road so there’s very little traffic but very convenient to lots of restaurants, groceries, drugstore, etc. The house was spotless when we checked in. The weather was beautiful and we stayed out by the pool pretty much all day and evening except for when we went out for a meal. The view of the pool and the canal is very relaxing. The owners have done everything possible to make your stay wonderful and easy. All of the light/fan switches are labeled. The inside of kitchen cabinets and drawers are labeled so when you unload the dishwasher, you know exactly where to put things. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The really great thing about the outdoor space is no matter if you like to be in the sun or the shade at any time of day you can find both. My husband stayed in the sun most of the time and I stayed in the shade. The heated pool was wonderful. The owners, Mike and Catherine, and the property manager Sonja were all so friendly and helpful. We did not have any issues, but they gave us some good tips about restaurants, etc. We would absolutely stay here again. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and everything was perfect.

Great place and wonderful host!

Michael and his wife are wonderful host! We enjoyed there place and could not ask for anything better! We have had our share of bad experiences and this was Fantasticks! We would stay there again, hopefully next year.

Lovely Home

We had a lovely time at this home. Loved the pool and the canal view. Mike and Catherine are great hosts. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes. Very clean. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

So Nice

This is one of the nicest VRBO homes we have experienced! The owners were so kind. The house is so organized and the kitchen has absolutely everything you would need to prepare meals. Loved watching the manatees in the canal from the dock!

relaxing

The home was great and we had one of our most relaxing vacations in a long while. So nice to just be able to walk outside and go to the pool and my husband could go fishing. All directions for the home were exact and Sabine couldn't have been better. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

BEST VRBO EVER!

We cannot say enough about this property, the owners and the property manager who helped us while we were there. It made for one of the most memorable and enjoyable family vacations we've ever had. Michael was extremely responsive to all of our questions, concerns, etc. ahead of the trip. This made my husband and I very confident and comfortable traveling for the first time in a year. The pictures and video online are an EXACT match for what this property is like in person! Everything we needed was right there: fully-equipped kitchen, linens, cleaning supplies, pool and beach toys, guides to the area, high speed internet and streaming services. ...and much more that I'm likely forgetting. We even utilized the grill for the best surf 'n turf dinner. Full disclosure - I am a neat *freak*. I always go into a vacation expecting to clean to some extent immediately upon arrival. It was not necessary here! I did clean up after ourselves a bit every day, but that's to be expected. I had everything I needed including a floor steamer, swiffer, cleaning spray, detergent, etc. Other than food, we purchased very little. Some additional detergent and paper towels - but my husband would tell you that's more a reflection of me than the house :) The neighborhood was peaceful, and the neighbors we encountered were very friendly. We rented a boat (@ cape coral boat rentals) for the week and had no trouble tying it to the dock (it was too wide for the lift). We would pack a cooler and venture out to different islands every day. Our daughter could not get enough of the pool. She was in it first thing in the morning, and after each daytime outing. We were either in there with her, or enjoying sitting along side the pool's edge. The area was lovely, with all the essential stores nearby. We highly recommend strolling around the Cape Coral Waterfront area, which has a couple of restaurants fit for couples or families. This is also where the boat rental operator was. I must commend Sabine as well. She was so friendly and helpful both before and during our trip. We knew ahead of time that we wouldn't be arriving at the house until nearly 9pm. I worked with Sabine to arrange for an Instacart order to be delivered prior to our arrival. She was there to receive it, and had everything put away by the time we arrived. That was a huge help. She was lovely! We had the best experience and cannot wait to work with these owners again!

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location

We were traveling during the COVID restrictions, right after Florida had just opened up. This property provided a great middle spot for our adventures. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. He answered all questions and was very helpful. We were asked to shorten our stay by a day, after booking due to COVID restrictions and policies for cleaning. This was completely understandable, and in the end worked out just fine, but was not terribly convenient. The house is in a great location and very close to Ft Myers Beach, but we found ourselves traveling to Sanibel Captiva more often. Simply beautiful and only about 35 minutes away from the house. Everything was as described, but I would mention some of the extras in the description going forward- the pool floats, bikes, and fishing gear, beach supplies - as these were things that enhanced our trip and saved us money. As far as the house goes, it more than met our needs. My kids loved the pool and the view out of the lanai was breathtaking. Just a few things that could’ve made the stay just a bit better: Not that you spend anytime in there, but the garage had a dank, musty smell that hit you when you entered. Since we got in super late, we reached out in the AM to the property manager. She was prompt and arrived wearing a mask, which we appreciated,and she explained was policy. Surprisingly when she checked us out she was not wearing it. She showed us how to use the pool heater- which was on when we arrived but we did not adjust. I brought a few issues of cleanliness up to the property manager. She seemed surprised by this after we showed her. These did not ruin our stay. The house was very clean otherwise. The other minor inconvenience was the electric fee. She took a picture of the meter when we arrived. We were hardly at the house except in the evenings so we weren’t expecting to use much- but I guess we still went over the allowance. She also asked that this be paid in cash- which seemed odd. She took our check anyway. Basically the electric extra is mentioned in the rental agreement, but you don’t have any idea what to expect as far as cost goes, and I would’ve preferred this expense be build in to the rental cost, not a surprise amount at the end. Just read the agreement and be comfortable w/ this as an additional expense. It was a beautiful, comfortable home-loved the neighborhood!

Lovely home!

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully appointed home. The owners were extremely gracious in allowing us to check in early due to "shelter in place" and flight snafu. Sabi e was instantly accessible and helpful. It was wonderful to stay in a place that literally has everything you could possibly need for a beach/ pool stay. Rafts, towels, bikes, stroller, and stocked kitchen allowed us to slow down and enjoy our time. We would love to come back someday!

Cape Coral Getaway

This property was everything promised in the pictures and more! The tiki hut on the canal was terrific. We relaxed down there on many afternoons. The house was clean and inviting and had plenty of room for two couples. The location was extremely convenient to grocery and various excellent restaurants. All four of us just loved this house!

Great spot for relaxing and access to Southwest Florida.

We were two couples and enjoyed the well appointed house on a lovely canal. Spent time at the dock relaxing and used the pool everyday . Property Manager Sabine was very responsive and overall we had a very good experience .

Cape Coral Serenity

What a gem located in a great community close to beaches, restaurants and all the conveniences of home. The Tiki Bar, Sanibel, Lovers Key sunsets, shelling and catching snook off the back gulf access dock. Beautiful Villa

We enjoyed six fabulous weeks in this beautiful villa, set in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It was bright and cheerful with multiple windows facing the lanai and canal from three areas of the home. Views were super! Upon arrival we walked into a spotless home. The kitchen, newly renovated, was spacious and well organized. The master bedroom was large as was the bathroom area with a walk in shower, also newly renovated. Very nicely done! The bedding and pillows were comfortable and of a high quality. The view of the canal was fabulous. We so enjoyed sitting on the deck chairs watching fish jump, boats going by and listening to birds singing. Owner Michael and house manager Sabine were great to work with. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately. We would definitely recommend this lovely villa and look forward to our return some time in the future. Thank you Michael and Sabine for making our time at Villa Bermuda so successful. We enjoyed every day !
