Thank you for a wonderful stay! Very clean home with all the things you need to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful view of the canal with a nice dock to fish off of. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. Although the weather wasn’t the best with the nights being pretty cold, we still managed to enjoy the solar heated pool every day and the hot tub was a huge bonus!! We would happily return! Highly recommend.

We originally booked Sunset Canal because we were looking at buying a house in Cape Coral and it checked the same boxes for what we wanted in a house. We loved the location on the water with large dock to sit under tiki hut, found the lanai area unmatched with pool and hot tub we used every day and loved it. We could highly recommend this house to everyone and we still wish we could find a house like it to purchase.

Highlights from our trip include staying at Cape Coral Dream House overlooking the canals and watching our son pitch on Field #4 at JetBlue Park. Enjoying coffee and homemade French toast on the pier in the morning was a great way to start the day! Some of our favorite adventures were cruising through mangroves with Captain Jack’s Airboat Tours and holding a 30-pound alligator at Wooten’s in Everglades City. Our favorite seafood dinners were Grilled Hoggish and Toasted Coconut Coladas from Dixie Fish Co. (we went there twice!) and Lobster Rolls from Lobster Lady Seafood Market and The Fish Tale Grill. We also loved soaking in the sunshine by the pool and gathering sea shells at Naples Beach and Fort Meyers Beach. Our favorite way to wrap up a day was swimming in the heated saltwater pool (loved the fountains and lights!), soaking in the hot tub, or watching a baseball game on tv in the lanai. To wrap up our last full day, we bought a skimboard at a nearby shop to take along to Sanibel Island. We loved our stay at Cape Coral Dream House!

We had such a great time here. Regina was super responsive and helpful. The house had everything you could possibly need for a great beach vacation. The pool and hot tub were amazing, kayaks on the private dock, fishing equipment, beach umbrellas, toys, chairs, and towels galore. We can't wait to go back!

Sunset Canal Dream

Amazing property! Very clean and as described. Pool was gorgeous and the perfect temperature to cool off on a hot day and at night the lighting in the pool and hot tub makes it a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing night time swim. It is a very relaxing property, quiet neighborhood, and great location. Our favorite nearby restaurant was Clase Azul just minutes from the house. Our other favorites were Rumrunners in Cape Coral and Dixie Fish Company at Ft Myers Beach. The beds were comfortable and plenty of supplies for the week (beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, fishing poles - my son caught a big Snook the first night!). We enjoyed watching the fish at night with the fish lights under water. Thanks Regina, we hope to be back sometime soon

Perfect

The house is exactly as described. The owner was responsive to all our questions and gave us great beach and restaurant recommendations. The pool and breeze from the canal gave great respite from the heat. Even saw a dolphin swimming in the canal.

Outstanding!

My familiy and I absolutely loved this home! The home is very spacious and clean. The pool was amazing and super warm which we spent most of the week in. The lanai had a great setup to sit outside and relax and watch the super bowl. We made use of the provided kayaks daily. We will be returning to Regina's home again.thanks Regina!

Cape Coral getaway

This was our family vacation. The house was clean and had starting essentials. The online pictures were accurate. Neighborhood was quiet. Easy to get to stores and restaurants. Our host was amazing making sure we had everything we needed and giving us great recommendations for meals and things to do with the kids. Would definitely recommend this rental and hope to go back again.

Great for water activities and beach!

We had a great time at this home! The listing is properly described. We had everything we needed and were expecting, plus extra beach towels! It’s very close to some fabulous restaurants (we ate amazing seafood) yet it feels secluded and out of the buzz of town. The house is on a very quiet road which was nice and felt very safe. The owner was great to deal with! They were very pleasant and answered questions promptly. They had clear expectations which made us feel comfortable they knew what they were doing. They have a very well kept house. Everything was in working order so we didn’t have any disappointments. The home is beautiful! It is SO comfortable, and the kids had a blast in the pool! We didn’t want to leave. The adults enjoyed the breeze and the views off the deck to the canal. The sunrise and sunset were stunning. We saw tons of fish(large and small), blue crabs and even a shark off the deck at the house! We could have stayed on the deck all day watching fish. The home is located about 40 min. from, what I consider, the most beautiful beaches in the country(Fort Meyers, Sanibel, and Bonita) the owner helped us figure out the easiest way to pay tolls and see the most beautiful sights. It is a perfect Florida vacation spot. I would recommend this listing to my family/friends in a heartbeat, it was wonderful, and hope to go back on my next Florida trip❤️

Amazing house with everything you need!

Easily the best house I've ever rented in the Cape Coral area. Great location, great owners, great amenities, it has it all! We had 4 adults, but easily could have added 4 children and been quite comfortable. The kitchen has every appliance you need! There are numerous areas to gather inside and out. We spent lots of time in the pool/lanai are. Pool is fabulous! The hot tub was great too! We also spent a lot of time on the dock. The underwater fish lights were very cool at night. There are plenty of great restaurants and tiki bars in the area, and renting a boat was very easy as well. The proximity to the Caloosahatchee is awesome. You can be in open water in a couple minutes. We liked this house so much, I tried to book it for next year before we even left. I highly recommend!!

All around wonderful stay!

My husband and I, along with our 5 young kids (8 months - 7 years old), absolutely loved our time here! The kids lived in the pool and also enjoyed fishing from the dock. It’s a perfect location with tons of restaurant options and other attractions nearby. The house is beautiful, outdoor space was perfect and well used, and the beds were very comfortable! Regina is an excellent communicator and we had everything we could possibly need for our stay! We’d love to come back again!

Christmas Vacation

My husband and I took our children and grandchildren on a Christmas vacation, this is the first time we have done this. We live in Michigan and decided to go somewhere warm for the week and take our family with us. Regina’s home was perfect for our group. Everyone enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fishing off the pier. We even took the kayaks out on the canal a couple of times. The house had everything we needed for the week. The grandkids loved playing with the PlayStation. The only downfall was all of the construction workers working on the house while we were there. The house had roof damage from the hurricane and it just so happened that the roof was being repaired during our stay. The crew showed up everyday at 6:45 am and worked all day until dark. So much for any sleeping in and privacy during our stay. We were unable to use the Lanai, because it was under construction also. All in all the house and the location would have been perfect, if not for the construction. It is located with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Regina was always available anytime for any questions we had. I understand that the house was in need of repair, it’s just too bad that it had to take place while we were there! All in all, we had a very nice time with our family. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Our family of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed staying at your home, the outdoor living areas were where we spent most of our time. Comfortable outdoor furniture made spending time by the pool, on the dock, or in the outdoor room watching thanksgiving day football a pleasure. We would gladly stay here again!
