quality of home

The first look from outside, outdated compared to other homes. Inside third bedroom shower with access to pool was not operational. The pool was not child friendly, no shallow end. Also, couldn't get the small spa to get to the temperature allowed by owner. The kitchen cabinets needed updating; I have rented more expensive homes in the area for a cheaper price per week The home should be updated with electrical outlets to except USB,like all the other homes I rented. Love the area, but was disappointed.

Cape for Christmas

We found the house comfortable, and inviting. We came to see family, and were hoping to enjoy the heated pool and spa area. With the home remotely micro managed by the owner it was impossible to change the air conditioning or the heater settings for pool and spa. Unfortunately leaving us with a too warm house and cold pool / spa. Not as advertised. This resulted in our inability to enjoy our time spent to the fullest.

Beautiful place to spend a vacation.

This was the perfect home for our family of five. We enjoyed the outdoor space and loved the pool. The check in process was easy and the property manager was quick to answer our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Don’t believe the pictures.

When we arrived to the property the ac was set to 80 degrees. It took 8 hours for it to drop a few degrees, and we were asked to not drop the temp below 74. The property has a jacuzzi area on the pool. It does not function: jets don’t work and the owner of the property (in England) was in control of the spa temp and not turn the heater above 85 (recommended spa heat on Florida Health site is 100-104). With the temperature of the pool being so cool (which we love during the heat of the day) this makes the outdoor space virtually unusable at night. The grill would not get hot enough to cook steaks and lobster we purchased. The decor is extremely outdated. Electrical issues. None of the outlets in the main bathroom work - I had to blow dry and flat iron my hair in the hallway. All in all would not re-rent this home again. When asking about these issues we were told we could leave but with other family members coming in out of town and management forcing us to be out by noon, it just wasn’t feasible.

Below Average Stay

The property itself is fine. A bit outdated, but beds were comfortable and amenities were good. Plenty of ceiling fans. When we arrived, the house was set at 82 degrees. It was stifling in there. I turned the A/C down to 74 (allowed temp by property management) and the system naturally froze. Property Mgmt was responsive via text but couldn’t get anyone there until morning. A/C finally kicked back in during the night so it did eventually cool down. The floors were dirty. We walked around the house barefoot and had very dirty feet - it was actually disgusting. If there had been a mop around I would have cleaned the floors. The listing says it is a heated pool, but we were not allowed to increase the temp. It sat at 84. This isn’t freezing, but it was cold enough that you didn’t want to hang out in the pool. All in all - I would not go back. I’m sure the owners haven’t been there in a while, but the PM company should have had it properly cooled for arrival and done a better job cleaning the house.

Stayed with my husband and 2 high school aged kids for spring break 2022.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was so nice and close to the grocery store. Our only complaint would be the master bed and twin beds. They need to purchase new mattresses as they are extremely uncomfortable and worn.

Cape Coral Visit

We came to check out area for possible purchase of vacation home. Very easy check in! House and landscape could use some sprucing up and minor repairs. Electrical needs attention. Lots of rules posted throughout the home. Made me anxious. Pool was super cold. Would have been nice to have a run down of local attractions on site. Kayak rental, etc. Clean home, close to stores.

Family Vacation

This property was everything we needed for our first Florida trip. The only things I wish I would of known was that the Jacuzzi is the same tempurature as the pool and there is no actual jets or jacuzzi features. Ut is simply and extension of the pool. Another thing is that the pool itself has no working lights. There are exterior outdoor lights for the above ground pool area. But this was only minor hiccups in a over all beautiful vacation and well maintained house.

Good location

The pros of this property was the location. We loved being on the canal and being a short drive to so much to see and do! We even did some fishing off the dock and enjoyed sunrise and sunset at the Cape Coral Yacht Beach. The pool and out door seating/grill area was so convenient however, this home could use some updating and maintenance. We’ve utilized VRBO several times and this property was not what we were accustomed to in this price point. All in all, it was a great vacation and we really liked the area.

Cleaning

The coffee pot, spoons and knives in the drawer were dirty. We could not use the microwave because the plate was not brought to us. Behind the door of one of the bathrooms there was a dirty underwear and we left it right there. The air conditioning was not very cold. We had a good time. Thank you.

Great home and location, would definitely go back!!!

We had a great long weekend enjoying the pool bbq, even got in some fishing out back!! Great location as well. Everything you need is a couple of minutes away. We would definitely go back....
