Lakefront, Pool, Spa, Kayaks, Beach/Fish Gear, Private pool deck with an amazing sunset. Huge outdoor travertine patio on the Lake with a heated salt water pool, spa. Fish/kayak off of your private dock, we provide these. Watch eagles, egrets & pelicans, 3 minutes from Water Park, Restaurants, Putt Putt & more. This is not a home, this is an experience. Luxury and Privacy Await you.
    No Pets, No Events, Private Quiet Neighborhood, No noise after 10 pm. Please take trash cans to curb on Tuesday nights. Driveway parking only, no parking on the street or grass.

Do not hesitate to book this house! Absolutely amazing! Our favorite rental we have ever stayed in! Super clean and many little extras that we randomly found throughout our stay! The hosts were wonderful! Would recommend over and over again! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Excellent hosts with clear and easy communication. Beautiful property and home close to all essentials. We had lots of fun in the pool, relaxing mornings in the hot tub and my boys enjoyed fishing on the Lake.

Our family had the best vacation! The house is better than pictured. Very clean and has everything you need. The backyard was perfect for swimming, relaxing and fishing. We caught some beautiful sunsets. We hope to be back!

Florida at its finest

This is by far the nicest vacation home we have ever rented . Everything 5 star! Home , view , cleanliness, amenities. We had an excellent time relaxing in the beautiful home for 10 days

Relaxing vacation

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Mermaid Cove.This was our second home we have rented from Stu and Cathy and they are decorated beautifully and very clean.The sunsets from the pool overlooking the lake were breathtaking Our grandkids certainly enjoyed the pool as we did.Highly recommend renting this beautiful home for your next vacation!

90 birthday celebration

This house is amazing! The view of the lake is so beautiful and relaxing! The pool and the hot tub was wonderful. The house is beautiful and has everything you need! We had the best time there and would love to rent from Stu and Cathy again!

Wonderful location and beautiful property!

We really enjoyed our week long stay. The private pool and spa were used daily. The dock overlooking the lake was a nice peaceful place to take in the sunsets. We were able to take a day trip to Sanibel and Captiva islands and made multiple visits to the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam location. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful property with its excellent location!

Perfection

What a great house and beautiful setting! This place was a comfortable fit for my 3 night stay in the area. The house itself was fantastic, but the screened-in porch, pool area and water views made the whole house choice so much more enjoyable and peaceful. You can’t go wrong staying here with its equipped kitchen — but there are also nice spots to eat close by if you’d rather go out. I would definitely stay here again!!!!

Just perfect!

This is the second property of Stu and Cathy’s that we rented and it was just as perfect. All of the above-and-beyond finishing touches really make you feel at home. The home is extremely clean and gorgeous, the pool is inviting and relaxing, and the lake views are beautiful. We will definitely be visiting again!

Mermaid House is Lovely!

The house was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, extremely clean! The kitchen island and master suite with claw foot bath tub was my favorite! My family loved the pool and spa! Stu and Kathy were amazing hosts and very accessible with questions. We would definitely stay again!!

Family Vacation

This home was just as described. The pool was great! My husband caught fish from the dock daily. It was a great relaxing vacation. This is a beautiful home nicely decorated and the kitchen has everything you need to cook with. We had a wonderful week!

Never want to keave

Every comfort a home! Amazing views, especially sunset! Amazingly maintained! Decorated clearly by a professional. Wasn’t a nook that wasn’t amazingly decorated. Oh yes, and the pool/spa five stars.

Family Fun and Relaxation

The house was very clean and neat. Very nicely decorated. The outside property had a spectacular view and the pool was nice and warm. We didn't want to get out of it!! All in all, we had a great time!! Would definitely rent again or one of their other properties.

Spring break 2024

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. The boys did not catch any fish, but had fun trying. The pool and hot tub were great. We traveled to several beaches nearby. The beach towels, umbrella, chairs and cooler were great to have available. Communication with the host was good. Check in and out were seamless.

Awesome Sunsets

This property was a great find and we would definitely stay here again. Awesome lake views and beautiful sunsets. The saltwater pool and hot tub were wonderful and the water temperature was a perfect 88 degrees. The house was super clean and had everything you needed in a great kitchen. I fished from the dock some every day and caught several bass. The owner, Stu, was very responsive and helpful with the few questions we had during our visit.

Great quiet location. Lots of things to do. Didn’t catch any fish but had a great time trying. Saw a lot of them. Just weren’t biting. Very clean property. Had a great time.

Great location and amenities.

Great experience. My wife and I have been renting VRBO homes both internationally and domestic for many years. This home is ranked very high with us. Very clean, easy instructions and well equipped. The screened in area in back towards the water was so relaxing. The pool and spa were the perfect temperature. We would recommend this home to our friends.
