Stayed with Son and Family

This is a 4-5 star rating with a few issues - good/not so good. Good - Home was laid out well since we stayed with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 children 8 and 5. Home was well supplied with plenty of bath and swim towels, kitchen was well stocked, extra blankets and pillows, paid extra for heated pool well worth the money!The desk work space was excellent as my husband was working remotely.Not so good - Hot tub was under repair (not their fault but it was one of the reasons we rented this property), no handbook on how TV's worked and what channels that we had access to, grill was unusable because of the grease that had built up in the grease pan below the crates (something a renter would not have tools to clean), lights were out, Overall we were pleased with the home.

Beautiful well equipped spacious home

We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this home was one of the most well equipped homes we’ve ever been in. Clean, spacious, pet friendly.. pool was beautiful and hot tub was an added bonus. They literally thought of everything and took the worry out of traveling. One slight issue but was able to contact the local rep for the home who resolved the issue quickly and gracefully.

Reset and recharge

The intent of our trip was to reset and charge from our busy schedule and this is exactly what we got while staying at this property. We really enjoyed the pool and the scenery of the canal. It was a very quiet location and close enough to restaurants and able to visit other locations like Fort Myers Beach. Everything was as pictured and really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to others.

Nice Spacious Home

Home was very nice, well-equipped, clean, and spacious. Outdoor lanai was lovely as was the view. I would recommend the home. Home has a lot of amenities and devoid of virtually nothing. A few things however, communication is through a third party and the third party was commendable with direct communication with us, however, communication between the third party and owners of the property is poor. If an issue arises during your stay, I feel it might not be resolved during your stay because of this. The TV of the Master Suite was unusable due to needing a PIN#. We requested it several times or to at least have the PIN disabled, but property owners never responded to the third party during our entire stay. I also had a few inquiries prior to our arrival and the third party informed me that they would get back to me with answers to those inquiries once the property owners got back to them, however, I never received any responses to those inquiries. So again, communication with owners is not great. Also, the windows and screen doors of the main living area have no curtains or blinds so if privacy is important to you, this might not be a good property for you. Other than that, the home was very nice and we had a lovely time

Great property. Mediocre management

Great home but The communication was inconsistent and there were issues with the property that left a lot to be desired compared to the listing. The good- nice property in a quiet location. Pretty dock space. Nice pool. Beds and linens were great. Kitchen appliances are top notch. The bad- The hot tub was not on or filled as pictured in the listing. The screened in patio was missing an entire screen panel and let all the bugs in. The main sliding door to the pool was unlocked and remained broken in an unlocked state until a locksmith was called. They said they couldn’t fix it and zip tied it shut, eliminating it from being used through the entire week. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a week with 5 people and one trash bag and paper towel. We messaged more than a week prior to see if renters were using the pool heat or what the temperature of the pool would be. No answer. Listing said 3 days notice to turn it on. So we arrived with no pool heat and then 3 days prior to checkout we got an answer telling us that it requires 3 days notice to turn on the pool heat…yeah, I know that. I read the terms when I booked months ago.

Family Escape

The house shows just like the listing advertised. Our visit was during the holiday break and though the weather did finally warm up but the pool remained very cold. Would have liked to know ahead of time that there was no solar cover on the pool. But that alone would not change my mind and I would still reserve this house.

It was very nice and relaxing the pool was bless full. I would recommend the owner cut the palms by the pool due to the fruit rats he has running around the pool cage.

Beautiful relaxing home

We had a great stay at this home. It has everything you could need. All you need is your clothes! A beautiful backyard pool area. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay here!
