It was a convenient location, the house was very well stocked, the kitchen was really very nice and the dining room accommodated the entire group. The living room furniture however was not very comfortable for family movie night. And the third floor was the perfect place for a family of four!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful and historic Cape Breeze! The rooms fit our extended family of 5 adults and 5 kids wonderfully. We loved that there were multiple spaces for children and not all were lumped into one room. We enjoyed the koi pond every morning, the porch in the evenings, and the huge kitchen. Very lovely stay for our annual Cape Charles beach week!

Great house

We have stayed in Cape Charles for the 4th of July for the past 6 years and have stayed in rentals in town each year. This is the best house we have stayed in. The kitchen and all 3 full baths are newly renovated which is very hard to find. The backyard is cute and the beds are comfortable. Works well for families staying with kids. Our only small complaint is the couch in the living room is very uncomfortable and impractical as it is basically patio furniture and isn’t great for lounging. Otherwise we loved this house.

Always the BEST stay!

We are a group of college teammates & friends of 25 years who have stayed in this house 4 years in a row now. We love the house, location and the owner Laura is always so accommodating and easy to reach. The house is fully stocked with everything we could need and more. The house is spacious and well decorated (with our favorite teal!) and the porch and back yard gives us plenty of space to sit around and catch up. We could choose another destination for our ladies weekend but we walk in the door and immediately want to book for the next year. There's something special about Cape Charles and this house. Thank you again for a great stay!

Family Gathering

We enjoyed all aspects of the property, especially the quick response of our hosts to our questions. We lacked for nothing in this well-stocked home! Our only concern was how steep and narrow the stairs to the Crow’s Nest are. This Nana had to be extra careful! It was wonderful to be so near the park for Lovefest!

Fun at Cape Breeze

We enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were very good. There were many things supplied by the owners and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The house is old but had many modern updates. Loved the open kitchen/dining area. The living area was a little small but we enjoyed the closeness. Great location, close to the beach, park and downtown. The hosts were easy to reach and even checked on us before and after we arrived.

Cape Breeze Retreat in Cape Charles, Va.

Nice renovated Victorian style house very convenient to town and beach. Wish it would have come with a golf cart as this seemed like a fun mode of transportation for our vacation. Didn't realize you have to make golf cart reservations ahead of time. Loved th and back porches and garden like yard. Steps to the third floor were steep and treacherous! Also, bedrooms on third floor were quite small with sloping roof line . All in all, house was a nice beach time for our family.and

Just Pack Your Clothes and GO!

This home (and its way more than a house) is the most well stocked home I have ever rented. You feel the love there.We actually played a game to see if there was a basic home item that we needed that we couldn’t find. Even a roll of tape was magically there when my granddaughter accidentally tore a page from her book and was devastated. The kitchen dining area was a big group’s dream. Bathrooms were beautifully updated. Extra pillows, blankets in sleeping areas. Great laundry area with wonderful beach towels and plenty of food storage space.could go on & on. The backyard was definitely another bonus! We watched the fish and the frogs in the koi pond from the perfect little viewing platform. At night, the fountain and the lighting made for a great adult getaway. The golf cart parking and charging space-perfection! It’s impossible to cover it all but just know, this house is as close to perfection for a large group as I have ever found. I will close with my dealings with the owner. Concerned, caring, and very responsive. I wish they offered more stars for this rating.

Wonderful week in Cape Charles

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Charles. The house was perfect for our extended family. We spent several days at the beach, loved that the park with an open field and pickleball courts was so close (perfect for our family field day competition) and, while we cooked most meals at the house, the restaurants we went to were delicious.

Beautiful home with plenty of space

This beautiful house was perfect for a family Thanksgiving away from home. We had 9 adults and 3 children - we had enough room to spread out and have our own space but also plenty of room to be together. It was very well stocked - We had everything we needed in the kitchen and around the house. The location was great - we enjoyed taking walks around the neighbor hood, to the park, and to the beach. The hosts were very responsive to questions/needs prior to and throughout our stay.

Wonderful 1st visit to Cape Charles

We had a large family group of all ages and found this home to be spacious and comfortable. The decor and updates throughout the house are really beautiful. We celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday there and our family used the trip to say good bye to my husband leaving on deployment. The kids loved hanging out in the crows nest and making s'mores in the back yard. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was a wonderful first trip to Cape Charles.

BEST House EVER

This house is beyond amazing!! It is walking distance to everything-beach, park, shops, restaurants…Beautiful property with stunning furnishings! Storage with beach chairs, tent, matt, toys and more. Porch rockers and swing, fish pond, fire pit…..everything 😊. Owner is very informative and reachable.
