  • Brickhaven By The Park - Step into a piece of history with this stunning updated 1917 home, gracefully preserving its original floors and intricate woodwork. Our spacious four-bedroom corner home is located right in the center of Cape Charles Historic District on the park. This spacious home with its ten-foot ceilings is just a short stroll from all that the town has to offer. Guest can enjoy central parks summer concerts right from the comfort of the front porch!

    Not only is the location golden, but the home also combines timeless charm with modern comforts and amenities, featuring large bedrooms, a sunroom with a serene view of the backyard and a generous dining room ideal for family gatherings, central AC and heat, high speed internet, outdoor grill, smart tv and much more. Having 2 queen beds, 1 king bed, and 1 bunk bed (twin over full), guests will find a wonderful retreat to relax and recharge. This spacious home also has blackout curtains on every window to enjoy a good night's rest. Relax and unwind on the inviting wraparound front porch or gather in the cozy sunroom to challenge each other on Pac-Man or Asteroids arcade games.

    4-Seater and/or 6-Seater golf carts available. A full-size baby crib or a travel crib is also available.

    It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at Brickhaven By The Park.

    Please note: This rental is for the main house and yard only. The detached garage is private and not included. The garage remains a multipurpose utility space for the property.

What a great property for a Beach Weekend. My teens loved the arcade & lounge. Home is very well furnished with comfortable couches, quality mattresses, and even little charging/power cables near all the seating! The ability to rent the golf cart on site was fantastic.

Absolutely lovely home! Host was very responsive and accommodating. Easy check in and out, very clean and the golf cart was such a great addition to our stay.We cannot wait to come back and stay!

The house is so great. They’ve done a great job restoring the beautiful historical house and providing all the comforts of home. Being accross the street from the park was so convenient for our kids who would run over there to play on the playground. The beds are comfortable, AC works great, plenty of common space to hang out/dine/etc. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend this property! It was amazing. Sparkling clean, easy to access, and the host was a great communicator. They left us coffee and snacks. They also arranged a golf cart for our use. Seamless experience, truly the best!

This house was perfect for our beach trip. The single shower is tough but the outdoor shower helped. We did not use the kitchen at all and it is a bit small. The rest of the house is fabulous including the front porch, spacious rooms, and high ceilings. Location is perfect. The golf cart is an absolute MUST!

The house was lovely and very clean! I am not fond of travelling as I own a cleaning company that inspects many turnover properties, but I was especially surprised to experience a clean rental.The golf cart is a must as we never got back in our vehicle until it was time to check out.Our hosts were very responsive and we are saving up for our return to this beautiful home.

Our stay was only for a few days, wanted to stay longer but work obligations for some in our group got in the way. Lovley 2 story home that was very accommodating! House was well stocked and very clean and comfortable! beds were comfortable. Had the pleasure of meeting and talking with John the owner as we got into town a little early. Rented one of the golf carts that they had available, and it is a must for getting around town and going to and from the beach! Also, the house is located right across the street from a beautiful little park. Would definitely love to rent this house again and hope to in the future for our trips to Cape Charles! Rachelle and John were excellent hosts and we Thank them for letting us stay at the Brickhaven by the park.

Wonderful stay. Everything was as advertised and hosts were responsive when I had a couple questions and even let me check in early when I requested at the last minute. Rent the golf cart - it was a huge benefit!

Great stay! Beds were comfortable, hosts extremely responsive and accommodating, and living/dining areas were spacious! My only “room for improvements” were the lack of an outdoor shower, regular coffee maker, and the size of the kitchen but we knew those things going into it so still very much a 5-star stay!

Great house

Stayed for 3 nights for a fishing adventure. Weve stayed at many houses in cape charles over the years. This was the nicest. Host was very responsive with questions. Amazing location walking distance to most restaurants. Across from the park. Very clean. Nice beds. Highly recommend

Family Getaway

We stayed here with my family of 2 adults & 4 kids. The location of the home is fantastic: right next to the park and a short walk to Mason Ave for shopping. We could hear the summer concert from our front porch on Sat night! My kids had a blast playing the pacman and asteroids games. And the home is probably the nicest rental we have ever stayed in, as far as the quality of the furnishings. The beds were so comfortable! Our only issue was that there wasnt an outdoor hose to wash off our sandy feet so we made do with a cooler full of water to dip our feet in. Also, bring extra trash bags and toilet paper as there is only a limited starting supply provided. Overall, I highly recommend this house!

Great Location, Beautiful House

The house is absolutely gorgeous with tons of amazing architectural details throughout. It is also in a great location central to Cape Charles and across the street from the park. Our 4 year old really appreciated that we could get to the playground very quickly and easily. And having a couple of old arcade games systems was awesome as well! We played those quite a bit. Overall there are plenty of amenities in the house and the beds are quite comfortable too.I do highly recommend renting the golf cart as well, as that made getting around town a breeze, and you can fit in much smaller spaces than a car on a busy weekend. The owners sent several emails ahead of the stay to keep us informed of the check in process and what to bring vs what is provided. We met the owner in person by chance walking out one day as he was mowing the lawn on the property, and he was very friendly and told us about the future updates they plan to make to the property. One thing to note if you have a large family is that there is only one tub/shower. It worked for us just fine, but something to be aware of. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay in this property and would definitely recommend it.
