Amazing family vacation

Our family of six, which included 3 teenagers and a six year old had a wonderful and relaxing time in this beautiful home. The owners thought of everything and had so much extra stuff available for use. The back deck was perfect for coffee in the mornings. The kids loved feeding the deer every morning and afternoon. (Truthfully, my husband and I may have loved that the most). The view of the lake is beautiful. Our little begged to come back again! Rita was amazing and very responsive to our every inquiry.

Lake home

The place was beautiful and well stocked. The beds were super comfy and has an amazing master bathroom with a sliding door that goes right to the balcony. It had an amazing view of the lake. The deer were wonderful and would come right up to your hand to feed them. Even has a community pool that's very close and the river is not far either. The host was very caring and easy to communicate with!

Relaxing retreat and fabulous find

Clean and comfortable home in a visually appealing location. The backyard view of the lake was wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were very friendly. Wildlife was wonderful to watch throughout the day. Owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond to questions and went above expectations to supply home with almost everything you may need. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Amazing views!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The house is beautiful, super clean, and the attention to detail is amazing! The deck is the PERFECT way to start and end your day with beautiful views. Feeding the deer was one of our favorite ways to start the day! Communication with Rita was super easy and she responded quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be back!

Exceptional Home, Five Stars Again and Again

The pictures are great, but the home itself is even more beautiful. Exceptionally clean and well organized. Warm and comfortable and meticulously decorated with so many nice touches for a great stay. Rita has thought of every amenity you could possibly need or want, from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms to the splendid deck. We enjoyed cooking/grilling, and dining while appreciating the most stunning sunsets - which paired extremely well with cocktails. Rita was incredibly responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our 33-night stay and left wanting more. We just cannot say enough about this beautiful home for a short or long-term stay. We would not hesitate to come back to this lovely home any and every time we are in the area.

4th of July-week stay: Rita had thought of everything!

Of all the vrbos we’ve rented over the years, none has been better organized, more thoughfully stocked and situated with a better view of Canyon Lake than Rita’s Her home is beautifully decorated and equipped with top-of-the-line items like linens, bath luxuries, cookware and appliances. Rita has clearly worked hard to insure her guests can focus on enjoying their trip and, more importantly, their family time, and they will not be concerned about lacking amenities Do not hesitate to book with Rita. We are planning to do so again ourselves.

Family time at the lake!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset lake view! Beautiful deck overlooking Canon lake, friendly deer in the neighborhood and truly the best stocked STR I have ever stayed in. Rita was a wonderful host, very responsive and proactively checked in during our stay. The community pool was a nice extra too! We will definitely be back again soon!

5 Stars is not high enough!

My wife and I had an incredible 4 week experience at this VRBO and would recommend this to anyone considering Canyon Lake Texas and even hope to return ourselves. The view and sunsets each nice were spectacular on a very spacious deck. The house was stocked with all the amenities we needed, and more! It was spotlessly clean and move in ready. As examples, the owner had these waiting for us: coffee/tea, spices, paper goods, toiletries, water bottles, deer food (!), and even two bottles of wine and more. This was by far THE best VRBO experience we have ever had! Thank you to Rita, the owner along with her husband! Can’t wait to come back!!

Canyon Lake family trip

Great place to stay. House is perfect, comfortable and spacious for family get-together of 6. Very clean and full of things for lake time and cooking. Host was attentive making sure we arrived and that everything went well. Sitting on the large covered deck eating dinner watching the sunset over the lake will be a special family memory

Beautiful relaxing stay at Canyon Lake

Lovely property with spacious deck that is perfect for reading, relaxing and watching glorious sunsets. The property was clean, comfortable and welcoming to us and to our furry friend. Great for exploring the hill country and just enjoying Canyon Lake.

Best girls weekend!!

5 stars just isnt enough! We've stayed in about 30 VRBOs over the past 10 years, or so. Ritas property, by far, was the best ever. Her house was SO well stocked. It was absolutely immaculate. The location was perfect for us, and the unobstructed lake view was just what we needed to chill out at the end of the day. 10 stars!!! We'll be back for sure!

Enjoyed our visit to the Canyon lake area. Property was pretty and had lovely amenities and pretty view. We would like to return again. Two things that were disappointing were the sticky tile floors. As we walked through the living room and kitchen our shoes were sticking to the floor. Also, there were spider webs in various spaces. Other than these two things everything else was nice. The porch was very nice and the fire pit was cozy! The home had a nice layout.

Have stayed at multiple places over my many years. This was cleanest, most well stocked in kitchen and throughout the home. Even had doggie treats for our furry companions. If I return to canyon lake will stay here again

Great house with amazing view of Canyon lake

Very nice house and clean. Deer in the neighborhood and front yard. We fed the deer every morning most out of our hands. I would not hesitate to stay there again. In fact I hope we can next year.

This property was wonderful. The host seems to have thought of everything. Location is great. Close to lake and river if tubing is your thing. Deck and view are beautiful. Best place I have rented in Canyon Lake by far!

Above and Beyond!

Truly an incredible VRBO home and a wonderful stay starting with Rita's willingness to go our of her way to change dates and make our trip superb. So many extras that my wife was stunned - we brought so many spices and supplies that Rita already had there for us. Pack light and you won't be needing much of anything - it'll be in a drawer or cabinet. The huge deck sets the home apart with constant view of Canyon's emerald water. Have a coffee in the morning or a cocktail at night and just enjoy. Ample and easy parking for our boat and Tahoe and our daughter's friend's car. Our only "issue" was that our Rottweiler puppy found the only space in the fence and decided to go off chasing deer for a bit - he oddly found his way right back to the front door and was waiting for m! Guess he knew how good he had it. We'll be back next and hope for more boat ramps to be open - but this is the one!!!

Great Place to Stay

This was the most well-stocked VRBO house we have had the pleasure to stay in. The owner was very helpful and timely with any questions/request we had. The check in and check out instructions were clear. Loved the large porch and all the sitting area and grille outside with the beautiful lake view. Having access to walk to directly to the lake would have been nice, but most VRBOs on Canyon Lake do not have this option, since the houses cannot be built too close to the water per the Army Corp of Engineers. All in all, fantastic experience and we would recommend this place to others!

Gorgeous views!

Our group loved our stay. We were on the expansive porch, enjoying the views and the humming birds, every chance we got. It was a quick 10 minute drive to Comal Park where we enjoyed a lake day. Highly recommend!

The perfect Hill Country rental

Rita is a great host and the house is awesome. If you are looking for a base to explore the Hill Country from, you should rent this home. Very convenient to New Braunfels and Gruene. Not far from several state parks. Close to great wineries in Wimberley and the Perdenales valley. And then there is Canyon Lake itself. The house has great views. Lots of space. Plenty of equipment for cooking and serving. When we come back to the Hill Country we will definitely call Rita first.
