A one-of-a-kind Hill Country escape with space to relax, play, and reconnect. The Deer & Dog Haus blends a character-filled home, resort-style outdoor amenities, and a converted vintage Greyhound bus for a stay you won’t forget.

Located minutes from Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River, and centrally between Austin and San Antonio, you get peaceful surroundings with easy access to everything nearby.

The maximum occupancy for the property is 16 guests. For groups larger than 16, please contact us in advance for approval. We may be able to accommodate additional guests depending on the nature of your stay, and additional guest fees may apply.

VINTAGE BUS (Sleeps 2)

★ No running water (main house bathrooms nearby)

Please note that there is no running water in the bus, in accordance with local regulations. The bus is intended to provide a unique glamping experience, while the main house, located just a short walk away, offers full access to bathrooms, running water, and additional amenities.

That said, the bus is equipped with a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, electricity, air conditioning, and heat.

Originally built in 1980 using reclaimed materials, the home still showcases its original beams, brick, and woodwork. It’s been thoughtfully updated to preserve its character while adding modern comfort.
