Beautiful home, well supplied and quite neighborhood. Wildlife around the area was amazing.

Great location and beautiful home. Outside area needed some love, but we truly enjoyed the area. Wished we could have fished and swam, but the lake was too low.

Spring break stay

The house was nice and the view was great. You could tell someone really put a lot of time into it. However, there were some that needed attention. Vbro’s fees and for the price, you would expect more. All and all though, it was a great stay. I would get rid of the broken furniture and things on the property that are an eye sore, clean a little more, and keep up with repairs and maintenance. Then maybe charge those prices.someone needs to go and do an overall overhaul.

Overall the property is very beautiful but it may need some attention. There is not enough light on the outside deck patio. The window blinds in bedroom is broken. The room or bathroom door locks don’t work. Some of the kitchen appliances don’t function properly (microwave, kitchen vent, mixer). There is enough toys for kids to enjoy. The rooms and bed are spacious.

Great Getaway

Great greataway into nature. We loved our time here. The only recommendation I would make to the property owner would be to clean up the outdoor area (blow leaves, hose down outdoor furniture) since it has a LOT to offer and enjoy but was kinda buried under dust and fall leaves. Other than that everything was great. We loved our time here.

Beautiful Home on the Lake

We came here for our anniversary weekend and brought my teen son and his friend. Great weekend and gorgeous house! My son and his friend enjoyed the game room and the kayaks. The interior of the house was very clean. The outside needs a good spray down due to weather wear and tear. Thanks for an enjoyable weekend!

Not Worth the Money - Too Many Issues

Sadly, this property is not worth the money. Via VRBO, you see lots of nice pictures. The house itself is nice, but the mgmt. company running the property, Hill Country Premier Lodging, is the problem. I wish I could go in detail but am limited to 1500 characters. Here's a recap of the problems. First, HCPL refuses to allow me to speak w/the owner. I have serious doubts that they will relay my complaints. Here is an abbreviated list. HCPL's response to my email leads me to leave this review. 1) Tons of flying bugs in the mater bedroom upon arrival. 2) Poorly repaired wall in the master bathroom toilet room. 3) Master bathroom toilet has a non-stop leak which is audible while sleeping. 4) Jet tub in the master bathroom does NOT work and has a damaged control panel. 5) Carpet stains in one bedroom. 6) Deep scratches/damage to multiple walls. 7) The blinds in one room are broken. 8) Broken chair on patio off master bedroom. 9) Broken chair in the dining area. 10) One of the towels in the master bathroom was torn. 11) Outdoor swinging chair is broken. 12) There is a trampoline that is broken and dangerous. 13) Ants all over the kitchen countertop. 14) ZERO cleaning products. 15) No shampoo or conditioner in the master bathroom. 16) No hairdryer. 17) Dishwasher but no dishwasher tabs. 18) Washer/Dryer but not products. Sadly, the mgmt. company could not care less. I would love to share their response, but cannot due to size limits. Have pics and video. Go with another property.

Great lakehouse with a view.

Great place for families to stay, clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the 13 people in our party. The game room was great for the kids. Great views from the multiple balconies. The lake is low so the walk to the water is a little longer but not insurmountable. Everybody got their steps in! As a previous reviewer mentioned bring a coffee pot theirs is broken and the blinds for the bedroom above the garage don’t close. We just hung a blanket. Those minor issues aside it’s a wonderful place to getaway and a great vacation property. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Spacious lakefront property for the family to enjoy

We were overall very pleased with this property for our extended family weekend gathering. Enough room for three couples (and younger kids in the rooms), plus an extra bunk room for the extra kids. The house was large enough to spread out. The foosball table and ping pong table were in a room with a door - very helpful for adults to play once the kids were in bed! The kitchen was big and functional. I would bring our own coffee pot if we returned: the one provided took exactly two hours to brew a full pot of coffee!

Great House for our Spring Break Trip

This house was perfect for our Spring Break Trip. The deck looking out over the lake has an amazing view! The kitchen and living room also look out over the lake. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs for everyone. We had a great time staying there.

Weekend Getaway

The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. Although we didn’t get to enjoy the backyard as much as we wanted to it was nice seeing the Deers come out and eat right in front of us. The backyard needs more lighting to relax at night. Besides the back door not locking property was very safe. Definitely a workout going up and down the stairs to lake. The view was amazing. I wish we would of spent more time there.

Great option in Canyon Lake

We enjoyed our time in Canyon Lake but it's not the property's fault that the water levels were so low that the water front property aspect wasn't usable. There's some exterior that could be fixed up and replaced like the swing but overall it was a great property and great communication with the property.

Great house for the weekend

This is a great option for big groups. The house is spacious, it has all you need for your stay, games, toys, all you need in the kitchen, comfy beds, 2 fridges, kayak, jacuzzi.. We had a great time!

Wonderful Listing

We loved our time at this property. The location is great and the house is beautiful. A major bonus was the fully equipped kitchen. We had all the pots, pans, utensils we could ask for. We will be back!

It was great

Driving up the road to get there was not very nice but the street that we were on & the house was great. The outside deck was private and walking down a little hard, but the kayaks and the hot tub were a great bonus! I know most people do not like TVs when they’re on vacation. I on the other hand do not get to watch TV, so when I’m on vacation, I do enjoy to do that. There’s only one small TV in the living room and one small TV in the master. I really have nothing negative to say, we had a great time on my sons birthday! P.s. The Italian restaurant that is 10 miles away has family meals that we ordered online and picked up one night for dinner, it was very convenient!

Beautiful home, but…

Gorgeous home and huge windows looking into lake. Nothing in this home is cheap feeling. Lake is a good ways down hill. Very clean and well stocked. Excellent game room. I’d give it 5 stars except the gazebo was gone and a bit of a construction site, so no place to sit closer to lake. And the water heater broke during our stay. The owner and mgmt company were very helpful, had it replaced and made it right, great folks to work with.

Perfect Vacation Home

We had 7 adults and 5 kids stay at the property to celebrate a birthday. It was the perfect size and the number of rooms, beds, and bathrooms was ideal. Property was clean. Views were beautiful. The property manager responded immediately to any messages or questions. Highly recommend and we would stay again!

Complains

The view was amazing, the location was great. But we had a lot negative moments: The bbq grill was dirty, took a time clean it up to able to cook. Most of the door’s lock are not working. A/C didn’t cool well, we had to sweat and join the house with 77-79 degree. No hot water, we had to take a shower with cold water. But for some reason, in our bathroom toilet has the hot water, not the sink. No lights outside at the stairs, so we couldn’t enjoy the hut-tub well, because it was hard to walk there after getting dark. The lights near the grill better not use because, it is still dark even when you switch them on. Disposal of the sink in the kitchen was not working. We were so upset, coz we went there to celebrate a holiday with family, but had to spend a time to clean the grill, try to find out how to switch on the lights, or how to make A/C cool the house.
