Modern amenities with retro vibe

This was a fantastic property. The house interior was so unique with its subtle antique touches among the modern furnishings. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with clean and stylish bathrooms. The offered toiletries were on point, as I couldn’t think of anything else I would’ve needed to use. Linen supply was abundant. Kitchen necessities were plentiful. Our clothing, food and drinks, were all we needed to bring. The yard was huge and well maintained with lots of seating out on the lawn and under the gazebo. Deer came around to greet us and we were able to feed them with the provided food in a bucket. We even had a fox come around to say hello too. The new cowboy pool was a treat especially with the floating chair rests. All in all, this was a great stay for us as we loved every aspect. A big thank you to the owners for being so accommodating.

Relaxing getaway

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. It was just the quiet, relaxing getaway we were looking for. Great house, great house, and great environment! We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Best rental house EVER!

This house is simply awesome. We were greeted by a little fox and several deer, and my kids were instantly in love. The house is beautifully decorated and the yard is such a fun area to explore. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

Couples Retreat

We had a great stay! This house was decorating nicely, spacious and lots of land with seating. There are 3 different styles of grills, jumbo jenga, cards and more. A great surprise was that they had a bucket for deer feed to feed the deers that came up to you. We highly recommend this house and will come back!

Peaceful lake stay

This house is so fantastic! Inside is so lovely and has everything you need. Comfy beds - well stocked kitchen - great living area. Outdoor space is incredible with hammocks and plenty of chairs and outdoor dining. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors. We also loved the screened in porch. We hope to stay again soon.

Great for a weekend getaway

We stayed here for a Mom’s getaway in mid October and it was delightful. The house was well appointed and there were so many great touches. Both the indoor and outdoor sitting areas were cozy and perfect. The screened in porch was a delight. We were able to walk down to the lake. We had everything we needed. Rick, the host was also great. We all said we want to come back!

Totality 2024

We picked this house because it was along the line of totality for the 2024 eclipse. The house is clean and well kept. The yard is lovely and shaded with grazing deer all the time. You have a view of the lake which was 22 feet low at the time. Rick was a very responsive host. I would definitely recommend this property

Beautiful and relaxing getaway

This was our second stay at this wonderful little cottage at the lake. The home is clean and well appointed. The lot is spectacular full of trees and a view of Canyon Lake. Canyon Lake Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. It was a quiet weekend away from family and taking care of others. The wildlife was abundant. Quite a few deer. Great location, wonderful view of the lake, shade and trees, a superior Host, Richard. Highly recommend this cottage if you are traveling to Canyon Lake, Texas.

The Perfect Cabin

This property offers a nice and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor view and the nice big yard. The cabin has essential items for the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Our kids enjoyed playing some of the board games and the outdoor activities with the sports items that were provided. Our favorite part of our stay at this place was the “Visitors” (deers) they came out early in the morning and afternoon. We will definitely try to book again.

Just want we needed

Driving up to the property you can see this place is some special, and as soon as you walk in you can see all the charm that this place as to give. The dacor was cute and make you feel like you was in a old lake cabin from the 60’s. We spend all our time in the screened-in porch ate breakfast, lunch and dinner out there. The only time the tv came on was just to see if a college football was on. The deers was my wife favorite part she made a friend with one special deer that would come in the morning so she can eat out of her hand. Before we left we was already looking at our work calendar to see when we can come back and spend time here again. Rick you have a special place and we will be back thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

My favorite vacation!

The property was beautiful on line, but it was waaaay more beautiful in person. I can’t stress enough how much we enjoyed every detail of the house and the property. Great communication with the owner. The deer made it extra special 😁. We can’t wait to come back!
