Did not use the hot tub. The kitchen was lacking in some prep tools. No garbage disposal. Rugs very dirty. Key code did not work. I had to call to get help. Shower in master bedroom had mold. The living room would have been more comfortable with recling chairs.The house was spacious and met the needs for our family. I accidently left some medication in the night stand in master bedroom. Also left Tide detergent, and large can of Folgers coffee. The VRBO rules state that they will not mail items left behind.

The hot tub was very nice and we unfortunately couldn't use the swimming pool since we got back kind of late from a graduation and the water was super cold but hopefully we will be back in summer to enjoy it. The beds were comfy and everything was very nice.and clean.

The house was nice and clean. Although it was too chilly to swim, the pool was very pretty, and the hot tub was great. Despite the pictures displayed in the add, there were not many views from the backyard. The one downside was that one of the owners showed up unannounced as myself and 2 other girlfriends were hanging out in the backyard. He was taking pictures for upcoming yardwork. This was NOT ok especially because we were in our bathing suits lounging and relaxing for a girl's weekend. Although management was contacted via text, only a simple apology was given.

The host was great & answered when I had to speak to them. My family & I had a fun time. The only thing I would have liked was that there were times we wanted to play ping pong but there weren’t any paddles. So we bought some paddles (which we left for others) but we could only play out there during the day due to there not being any light. We would definitely come back & stay here again.

Hot tub and backyard was wonderful. The porch is slippery when getting out of hot tub. Beds were very comfortable. There were a few housekeeping matters but they didn't ruin our stay.

We have stayed here before this is our second time at this beautiful home. We plan on returning again. We’d like to rent this when we’re having a stressful time at work and we wanna just get away. It is a nice place to just relax. Sitting outside by the pool and listening to the sound of the waterfall it’s just so relaxing. The only thing is if you like to cook you do need pots and pans there’s not enough pans at this location. Other than that it is amazing and we do plan on returning again. We made the rental arrangements at the last minute, even though it was a last-minute rental it was very smooth property manager got back with us right away and we really enjoyed our stay

This was a team-building weekend with my work crew. We enjoyed the spacious house and all the amenities: we LOVED the pool especially but also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit! We made lasting memories, everyone was comfortable, and everything went smoothly.

My family and I stayed at this property and truly enjoyed every bit of it. The home was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We felt right at home and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. The area outside by the TV and the red outdoor sectional could use a little TLC, but it didn’t take away from our experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back in the future!

Canyon Lake Oasis

Our family had such a relaxing getaway - the real attraction is the gorgeous pool and outdoor entertaining area with a hot tub, charcoal grill, tv relaxing area and firepit with outdoor lights around the yard. We brought our dog and the huge side yard was completely fenced in. We had read through the online reviews and brought a few extras with us like cooking pans and basics like a whisk, can opener, tongs for grilling. If planning to cook a big meal, another item to bring would be a large bowl if making a big batch of guacamole. The bedrooms were large and had nice closets - plenty of pillows and plush blankets. The master bathroom has a nice walk-in closet, the shower water was cold - although it may have warmed up - we didn't run the water long enough to test it, but the second bathroom had consistent hot water. The dining area had a large dining table with a lazy susan table spinner - the pantry is huge and the kitchen had a great serving layout for family style buffet meals. All of the appliances worked great - no issues except you would need to pick up a bag of ice for beverages - no big deal for our family. The washer and dryer is in the garage and it has a great laundry bench next to the machines to sort and fold clothes which was a bonus!The living room was so comfortable and perfect for a movie night with plush blankets under the sofa table. The house was cozy and perfect for feeling like everyone was included whether indoors or outdoors. We will be back!
The pool waterfall was amazing in-person. The sound of the rushing water was so relaxing!
The pool was large with a mermaid cove and bench under the waterfall. There is a nice sunning ledge and a bench in the deeper end of the pool to relax on. Plenty of pool decking for chairs and sunbathing. Such a great space!

Great amenities, beautiful Home, needs better Prop Mgmt

This home has fantastic potential, a beautiful pool and outdoor space, abundance of space. We loved the time outside, location, and size of the home. The owners should consider reevaluating their property management contract. I doubt they're aware of the lack of management that's actually occurring. The floors were not swept, the carpets were not vacuumed, there is an excessive HVAC exhaust onto the patio (doing it's job), but onto the tile that's caused a major slip hazard. It's been "solved" with a yoga mat and bathtub bat that were both covered in algae and mold. We finally pulled up both and used towels to soak up the water and add traction. HVAC Drip pan needs to be serviced and the drain needs to be piped out to the rock, not directly onto slick tile. The kitchen had 2 dishrags and a partial pots set that was broken. No mixing bowls/baking dishes/etc. Hallway HVAC filter was filthy and blocked with lint. Fridge filter needed to be changed, the water tasted slimy. The dishwasher was not mounted to the cabinetry so when you pull out a rack the whole machine comes out with it. The clothes washer is a front loader and needs to be maintenanced as such. The door/flange was full of mold and smelled rancid. Not all the beds had bedding and one bed that we did not use had visibly soiled sheets. Bathroom countertops were noticeably not cleaned, only dry wiped. We would absolutely stay again. This detailed notes is only because directly contacting owners isn't possible.

TOO DIRTY AND POOR COMMUNICATION!

We arrived to find the property all full of dust, stained bedsheets, dirty countertops, stained table mats, electricity in one room was not working, the outdoor patio was not on its best cleanliness, the pool water was so cold and the fountain wasn’t working. It is a gorgeous house but just because it’s a bit old it seems that it’s been neglected, specially the landscaping. Proper housekeeping could have made a HUGE impact in our stay. It seems that this has been an issue for a while now, according to previous reviews, we decided to give it a shot since you would assume that the reviews were taken seriously. We contacted support and during the whole stay, property management failed to contact me directly. We had to figured it out self for the pool and the electricity issue.Lastly, there was pet hair everywhere, no pool towels, not a heated pool and kitchen did not have all essentials.We still had a great time and made the best out of it since the location of the property was quiet and peaceful.

Backyard Gem but needs maintenance

This is very nice property in a charming location. Pool and hot tub with lovely landscaped garden. Great for family getaway with pets. The home is just a bit dated and in need of maintenance in bathrooms, kitchen etc. Cleaning crew does not do a great job otherwise it would have been fabulous. Supplies in the kitchen is not adequate.

It wasn't what I expected

The house is very nice.The pool and jacuzzi were clean and working well. The rooms were clean, but we rented for 10 people and were only given 7 towels.The social areas and kitchen were very dirty. The pool chairs were covered in dust and had spill stains.The kitchen is incomplete; it only has two small pots and a small frying pan, and the coffee maker doesn't work. There were 10 of us, and I had to buy food all weekend because I couldn't cook for 10 people. Customer service didn't resolve this situation or give me any explanation.We rented for 2 nights and were there for a full day without water, also without explanation or any kind of refund.Overall, the house is very nice and comfortable, but it needs more attention from the owner
