The swim spa was great! The beds were comfortable. The only thing I didn't really like was that the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were outside the main house and the breezeway between the main house and the other two bedrooms was only protected by a screen door, that didn't lock. The outside of both 2nd and 3rd bedrooms locked separately, but I wouldn't recommend this house for anyone with small children. Ours are 13 and 9 and we made it work by having our 13 year old sleep in the same room as the 9 year old (luckily full over full bunk beds). Also, the kitchen could have been stocked a little better with more cups, utensils and such. There was barely enough for us to all use. Same with the towels, especially since they have the swim spa. Also, we were not told that the house was up for sale and there was a relators lock on the front door which made us uneasy that they were going to try and show the home while we were staying there, luckily that didn't happen. Overall we had a nice stay, just could use some minor improvements.

Weekend getaway

My friends and I decided to book a girls weekend and this listing was absolutely perfect! Beautiful location, very clean and perfect amenities. We absolutely loved the enclosed porch and spent pretty much all of our time there. Neighborhood is very quite and homes are spaced out so you can just take in the scenery.

Very enjoyable and easy to stay

Needs up day on pots and pans as the handles are falling off, also patio furniture needs checked as screws and bolts are loose. Some may get hurt. Otherwise was wonderful lay out and very hospitable

Quick friends trip

There were only two of us, but we booked because of the awesome hot tub! Neighborhood is very nice and very quiet. Loved all the screened in living area, but not sure the set up would be good for those with younger kids as two bedrooms separate from the rest of the house, and there is only screen doors that can locked to the screened in area. For adults it's fabulous. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and there is plenty of living/kitchen/dining space.

Title

Not enough hand/shower soap to last three days. one tiny disk. The shower hose connection was loose allowing water to spray everywhere. The code didn't work even with wiggling the door. Bad connection with 24 hour service to finally give a code to secure key to entre property after 20 minutes.

We stayed here for a fantastic weekend getaway. The location is peaceful and the swim spa was a great attraction for the property! My only complaint was the floors were very dirty and there were dirty washcloths left in the shower from the previous guests.

Canyon Lake Fox Trot was Amazing

This property is very nice and very comfortable. We enjoyed the location and the amazing canyon like view out the back. The oversized Swim spa was awesome as well. We loved the screened in wrap around porch and the separated bedrooms from the main house. This was just a beautiful home. We would go back again and stay there for sure! Kim

A great weekend!

We loved our stay! The layout is great for extended families. Sleeping arrangements were a little challenging for us as we have littles, but they enjoyed everything! The screened in porch is perfect for Texas bugs and 100% approved by my mosquito allergic family. Would stay again!

Great Location

Great house in a beautiful neighborhood. Extremely quiet and private. Each room had a large closet with its own full bathroom, which was great. House was clean. Nice area to explore down behind the house. If you plan on cooking, make sure to bring your own dishwasher detergent and/or sponge. Minimal supplies to use on hand at the house. If you plan to use the hot tub, I would request directions on how to use it, as it wasn’t clear how to heat it..

Wonderful Family Getaway

We loved this home. It was a perfect location with restaurants, a grocery store, and local sights within an easy distance. We love shopping and hiking in Wimberly. The hot tub was amazing, and sitting out on the porch in the cool of the mornings or at sunset was my favorite pastime. The beds were also extremely comfortable. The set-up for this home makes it perfect for family entertainment.

WARNING - Ambiguous cancellation policy and no rescheduling allowed

Potential guests should give careful consideration and review of the rental agreement before finalizing a booking for this property. The rental agreement is ambiguously worded with respect to cancellation and does nothing to address rescheduling which is completely up to the discretion of the owner. In my case, I booked only 2 weeks in advance which is already inside of the allowable cancellation period but needed to reschedule to one month later due to one of our kids getting sick. I was refused a rescheduling request based on it being too close to the booking dates although nothing in the rental agreement supports this. The owner just decided not to allow us to reschedule to dates that showed as available at time of request. The owner decided to offer a “cancel holding” which is some obscure policy that is not detailed or mentioned anywhere in the agreement. Our original dates were “released” in the system and the property ended up booking for another 2 nights that started during our originally scheduled dates. Swapping 2 nights for 2 different nights by other guests would seem fair and reasonable but since the alternate guests arrived one day later than our original booking, we were still charged for one night. Can’t comment on the accuracy of listing or the area since we never stayed at the property. I just know we are $300+ poorer for trying to stay here and the owner has decided this poor review is worth the revenue. Take caution on the rental agreement terms!

So Peaceful!

I was worried about traveling/staying on my own but I felt so safe in this neighborhood and at the property! They did an excellent job with the security of it and the layout. It was absolutely beautiful, quiet and the hot tub was amazingly huge! Way too much house for one person, but it was an excellent price and I’ll definitely be staying in the future.
