Great place to stay

Spring Break 2025

This property was just what we needed. It is not extravagant, but it was clean, well stocked, reasonably priced, and in a convenient location for the activities we had planned. We wished it had a bit prettier view, but it didn't really didn't matter because we weren't there much. We were able to sleep comfortably, take showers, and make breakfast and coffee in the mornings. .

Poor advertisement.

Just because someone answers your call with a concern does not mean anything is done about it. There was not proper silverware for 4 people. Phone call politely told me to go buy my own and maybe I would be reimbursed. If I am going camping I expect that. If I am renting a furnished house I should not have to spend my time and money to interrupt my vacation to solve a management problem even if it is 5:30 PM. Problem was never resolved over a 3 night stay. VERY POOR customer service

Fell Short

We booked this house for a family New Year’s getaway. While the space worked well, there were a few issues that really fell short of our expectations. There were two forks and two cups in the entire house that is supposed to sleep 8 people. Also, the cookware options were really bad - we ended up having to get our own utensils and a pot that would cook a meal for more than two people. Strangely, there were a million kitchen knives; it’s just not a well-planned kitchen for houseguests and many of the items were dirty. This place could be good with a little more thoughtfulness and care.

Perfect Location

I’d book it again anytime I need to go to Whitewater Amphitheater! Took about 6-10 minutes (depending how fast you walk) to get to Whitewater and didn’t have to pay for parking or deal with the madness of getting out of there when concert is over. The Expresso Voodoo coffee truck is literally a less than minute walk from driveway. Pros: Again, location, location, location. We attend Friday night show at Whitewater then listened to the Saturday night show from the back deck. If you like sushi try Pier Sushi right next door. Their Avacodo Bomb was AMAZING! Nicest man name Dwayne greeted us after check in and brought over curtain rod hooks. More than enough room for eight people comfortably. Full working kitchen for group meals. Good seating for group. Plenty of outdoor space. Cons: Please please fix main bedroom door. I can’t stay in a place where I can close the bedroom door. A few extra pillows/blankets would be useful. There were 8 in our group and we only found 7 forks. Lol! Deck needs some tlc. Floors need cleaning. I’m 100% positive they weren’t cleaned in bathroom between bookings because I found the curtain rod hooks still laying on floor and a sticker of some lips. Base of toilets had some yucky stains on it. Beware of the little rod sticking up out of driveway. Only allows for three people parking but house next door had like ten cars the entire time. Overall we’ll give an A and would book again!! Thank you for a great weekend!

Awful place

This was an awful place. It was dirty: hair clogged up in shower, shower curtain barely hanging on by 4 hooks two were broken left on floor, when told was told to go to store and purchased some and we would be reimburse. Could not watch tv-it turned on but nothing happened. The grill would not light - was told the next day to go buy a lighter. There were 2 water glasses and 2 wine glasses - it’s supposed to sleep 8. The outside trash cans were full so we could not use them. There was mold in one shower area. The outside is completely dilapidated. We wanted to move to a hotel but but could not find any available. We were there for a family funeral. The 2 houses next to us look like meth houses. This was so gross!

Will definitely stay again if in the area

The house is in a great location. We walked to the concert venue, to float the river, the coffee shop next door, and a tavern that neighbors the property. The deck was great to sit on and watch the sunrise in the morning. Even though the property was close to everything, it was still quiet and peaceful.

Nice location

Tubing and whitewater amphitheater is close. Everything was cool…. River’s running way low at the moment but that is what it is. Been coming to the river for decades and it’s always a good trip.

Golf trip house

This was the perfect place for our golf trip to the Hill country. 4 golfers, 4 bedrooms! Centrally located to several great courses. Also, there's a coffee shop within a minute walk.

The toilet paper thieves

A small quantity of toilet paper was available on arrival. The rental agreement says an additional roll is provided. When we saw the additional paper wasn’t on site, we called and reported the situation. We were informed additional paper was beside a hair dryer (not the case); we were informed a picture was uploaded. Pictured and availability aren’t the same thing. We received the assurance the paper was on shelf, with no offer of apology and the bland reassurance we could purchase more locally. Thanks so much!
