Loved it. Easy to access and beautiful place. Comfy bed and Texas strength air conditioning and well equipped and set up. We had a great time in our short stay and used all three beds (pullout sofa in living room served easily as 3rd bedroom and there were details like luggage rack in the closet and2 full bathrooms and great (and extra) towels. Fully equipped kitchen and even coffee (k cups) and sugar as well as snacks waiting for us. Great light fixtures outside. Beautiful view and quiet dark night sky.

Amazing Views!!

Really great cabin with amazing views! Proximity to Sad Monkey Merchantile is nice for some morning coffee and/or picking up essentials and some non-essentials for the matter too. Wonderful host and property is comfortable and clean!

Everything was fantastic - could not have been nicer. The views were beautiful (right on the canyon rim) and the house was perfectly appointed and super comfortable. We will be back!

Exceptional place to stay

This is an amazing place to stay! The property is quiet and beautiful. We loved the barbary sheep. The views are incredible! The house is perfect, clean, comfortable, and great views from the porch. I couldnt ask for a more perfect stay!

Most Beautiful place we've ever stayed!

This place was absolute bliss! The hosts responded immediately to everything we needed, they were incredible. The welcome gifts were best ever, too! We'd stay here for eternity if we could! Thank you!

We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Maverick Cabin, at Dove’s Rest Resorts! The on site manager was very friendly and helpful, I believe his name was Garland? The place is amazing and so comfy. We had a great view! The horse corral just outside our cabin was a great benefit, we could just walk out the cabin to check on our horses! We already can’t wait for our next stay!

Great Place, excellent customer service

Our family celebrated Christmas there. We rented three cabins for the 16 people in our group. Everybody loved the cabins and the area. Management was very responsive to requests such as extra chairs for our family dinners and having groceries and snacks delivered. We do these family trips frequently and this was the best rental experience.

Peacefull

The Maverick Cabin is amazing! the description, the pictures dont do it justice. The views are awesome, the property is great to walk around enjoying the views. We loved the patio enjoying our coffee and views. The wild life on the property are so much fun to see. The bed is super comfty and the cabin was just much more then we expected. We will be back again.

Beautiful Cabin and great service

The cabin is beautiful. It was clean, cozy and had all the pots pans, coffee pots. utensils we could need! Due to a very bad windstorm all power was knocked in the area and we still had a wonderful time!! Having power made an already great experience better. The managers were fantastic but the power was out of their control. The view was amazing, the cabin very comfortable and I will be back for sure! The beds were so comfortable! The locals are great. I have already recommended to everyone I know and will do so on social media.

Pulled up and the cabin looked as expected. Open with the door and it was even cuter. Then I thought it would be. The living room kitchen area is quite spacious and has lots of places to sit down for everyone. The back patio has lots of sitting bases as well. So you can just relax and look over the Canyon. Lots of room around the beds to move around without having to squish between a wall in the bed and the bathrooms were very large and could fit multiple people in them at a time.The fridge was cleaning and kept everything cold. We had plenty of plates and bowls for the four of us and silverware. It had coffee with sugar and powdered creamer available to use as well. There was a toaster and a coffee maker in the cabinet If that’s what you preferred to use for coffee instead of the Keurig on the counter. There was even tinfoil in the drawer and the pizza cutter. The girl was easy to use. Our hamburgers came out perfect. And all the utensils were there for using the grill.Definitely a place I would recommend and would love to stay there again with that number of people. We did not fold out the couches to see how comfortable they were because we didn’t need them. We were there in April, which should have been warmer, but it was a little chilly and the heat worked great. The fireplace was very easy to turn on as well. When we just wanted to take the chill out of the air at night.

Friends Weekend

Maverick was delightful! It has appealing colors and decorations in a wonderful setting. Extras, such as 6 K cups and hairdryers, were provided. The beds are comfortable. The best parts are the setting close to the Palo Duro canyon rim and watching Audad sheep frolicking on the opposite rim. Such fun.

Spectacular views and quality living

This property sits right on the western rim of Palo Duro canyon and offers spectacular views of the canyon. Inside the house, you'll find first-rate living accomodations. Everything is clean and comfy. The property is just minutes away from the entrance into the canyon, and lots of other related attractions. If we're ever in the area again, we will DEFINITELY stay there!
