Sweetwater Lodge - Luxury Log Cabin Rental

  • Sweetwater Lodge is the quintessential family gathering place! A model home by True North Log Homes, the property is tastefully decorated with 5 bedrooms (with an additional daybed and trundle in the upstairs media room), 4.5 bathrooms and three dedicated gathering areas. All of the mattresses and bedding were recently upgraded at Sweetwater Lodge with a Casper Wave Hybrid in the main level bedroom and Leesa Hybrid mattresses in all of the other bedrooms. Each bedroom (except the Lower Level King which is on backorder) and living spaces has been updated with a Sonos sound/speaker bar and brand new, 4K Samsung large screen smart TV complete with YouTube TV, Netflix, Disney Plus and HBO Max. A house iPad controls the Nest Thermostats and house Sonos speakers/sound system. Sweetwater Lodge has gorgeous mountain views and an expansive two acre front yard for games and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Guests are provided with a solo stove for fires (as well as all of the s'mores fixings) and the outdoor hot tub is the perfect way to end a busy day! The house is fully stocked with all of the standard amenities - sheets, towels, toiletries, and laundry supplies, and has multiple ANKER charging stations/cords throughout the house. Sweetwater Lodge's chef's kitchen offers a gas cooktop and is stocked with All Clad cookware, Keurig and Nespresso coffee makers, Breville toaster oven/air fryer, and all necessary cooking utensils and staples. The Weber Grill on the deck is perfect for summer grilling!! Just bring your suitcases!!! Floor plans, including bed sizes, are included at the end of the photos.

    PETS: We are happy to welcome one dog under twenty pounds for a non-refundable $200 pet fee. If you have additional pets, or pets that don't meet the size requirements, please inquire.

Our family of 10, ages 16-74, loved our 7 nights at this spacious cabin. Room to spread out… convenient location for numerous activities. Our host ( Ashley) was so responsive, thoughtful and friendly…wonderful to do business with her. From the large hot tub to the second frig in the garage to the much used separate ice maker, you’ll appreciate every amenity. While there, be sure to visit the Canton Recreation Park. A gem for the community with a shaded walking path along the river, an abundant community garden and places to put-in for tubing. Overall… just a wonderful experience!

This is a beautiful property. We had 10 siblings and it accommodated all of us. The most special spot was the round dining table for 10. The property manager was incredibly supportive to our needs. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Very clean and stocked with everything you need for a large family. “ rustic charm” can mean poor quality sometimes, but this house has been built with quality in mind and decorated in the same way.

We loved our stay at Sweetwater Lodge! It was the perfect halfway point between Asheville and our daughter’s wedding venue. The host was incredibly responsive—from my initial inquiry through our departure. If we ever travel to the area with a large group again, this would definitely be our first choice. The lodge offered plenty of space to spread out, as well as quiet areas to relax and enjoy some time to yourself. It was also conveniently close to restaurants and grocery stores, making our stay even more comfortable.

Sweetwater Lodge was sweet indeed

Fantastic location. Minutes from the interstate and halfway between Asheville and Waynesville. My family had a great stay and talked of a repeat visit. The host was gracious and helpful.

Perfect house for a girls trip to Asheville! Gorgeous, well-appointed and plenty enough space to be alone or together for fun times. Host was excellent, quick to respond, and gave us great suggestions for activities and dining. Would definitely book again.

Family in town for a wedding.

Fantastic property that accomodated 6 generations of family, some whom traveled as far away as Australia. The house is very well appointed, spotless, and with a view that has to be seen to be appreciated. Thank you for an outstanding stay at Sweetwater.

The property was incredible!! When it says 'fully stocked', it definitely was with so many supplies. We are were so thrilled with the property, we are considering booking again for next year, even though we like to check out new places. Our host was amazing! She responded immediately to any questions or requests. We even had a power outage one night and she notified us almost immediately. Thank you so much for such a wonderful vacation!!

Lovely luxury rental property

We had a great stay at the Sweetwater Lodge. The house itself is beautiful and it was well equipped for cooking, etc….it even had a Vitamix. It’s in a beautiful area pretty close to Asheville but more secluded. Ashley (our host) was very attentive to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Amazing Property!!

This house was as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. The house was extremely well equipped with everything and anything we could have needed. The beds were also extremely comfortable. The host was so accommodating and kind. I highly recommend this property.

Our Own Mountain Oasis

Thank you, Ashley, for providing the perfect Carolina home away from home. Our family of six had plenty of room and plenty of fun. From the hot tub to the pool table to s’mores at the fire pit, we had our own mountain oasis. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The house was fully stocked with kitchen essentials, toiletries, and more. Sweetwater Lodge with its mountain view and luxury living was our great escape.

Gorgeous Cabin Get Away

My family and I had the most wonderful week stay at Sweetwater Lodge! We all stayed we’ve never stayed in a rental property that has been so well-appointed and felt so home-y and SO clean. It’s decorated perfectly, has all kinds of modern technology (we LOVED the Sonos system) and amazing amenities. Ashley is amazing at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great location to drive to downtown Asheville.We 100% recommend staying there!

Absolute perfect

Ashley has thought of everything! Plenty of room for 3 generations/3 families. Plenty of room for all ten of us to congregate particularly at the huge round table, but also lots of cozy nooks for “me time”. Beautifully decorated!
