"The property was clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of firewood to heat the hot tub and have a fire. The cabins were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we had was on check-in, we never got the email that gave us access to the cabin. Luckily, the landowner was walking around at 9:30 p.m. and was able to let us into the cabin. I definitely wish we could have a few more days there. It was definitely worth the price"

"Great place for our overnight stay en route St Andrews! The property is on third floor and whilst it looks a bit small ( will admit we were a bit unsure) as soon as you open the door into the penthouse, it is welcoming, warm and cosy! It is bigger than we thought and had all we needed for our stay. We walked about the town and there was plenty of places to eat and 2 spars and a coop for essentials. "We booked for 2 nights and wish we had booked for longer. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for a quiet self catering break. This included coffee, tea, sugar, foil, cling film and cleaning products including a new dishcloth. I really liked that there was milk, biscuits and sweets left for our arrival.One of my pet hates is small rough towels that are impossible to dry yourself, we were happy to find soft bath sheets...

"Great property, clean, excellent master bedroom, well equiped, brilliant location and in a peaceful spot, however the hot tub stopped working / went to standby mode and couldnt be used so felt like the one main reason we booked this property and couldnt use it. The stairs are very steep and were difficult to go up and down. Ideal for kielder and surrounding areas. "

"We loved our stay at the Milecastle Inn. Our little apartment was a perfect size for us, clean and well equipped. They even stocked it with snacks and breakfast items. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was cozy with good food. The most amazing part was that you can easily walk to Hadrian’s Wall from the Inn. It is also right next to the bus stop from Haltwhistle and the train station. Overall it made for a perfect vacation!"
